An overhual to vanilla guns,to give them unique feature make combat fast-paced while keeping that starfield is a RPG game in mind.
- Permissions and credits
1. Extract file into Starfield data folder.
2. Inside C:\Users\Username\Documents\MyGames\Starfield,find StarfieldCustom.ini and inside write this command:

【Guideline】
Starfield makes a huge step talking about GUNS. Quite a few flaws remains, however:
——Full-Autos are weak.
——Even though aiming down sights, randomspread still exists, you can hardly shoot at exactly where you are aiming at.
——Late-game enemies are 15 times tougher thanearly-game enemies, and you will deal 40 times damage using late-game guns even
without perk, that’s very inconsistent.
——Armor penetration does not apply toenergy damage.
——A number of weapons, only a few of themhave unique feature.
——Range is underused.
【How I Fix It】
——Fire mode does not affect damage anymore.However semi-autos exclusively benefit from some vanilla perks.
——Pistols and SMGs features good hip-fire, fasterads(aiming down sight) and limited range. Rifles features meh-uh hip fire,
slightly slower ads and better range. Heavyweapons features unreliable hip fire, cumbersome ads , but great damage output.
——No more aiming down sight spread, exceptfor shotguns and a few exceptions. Recoil is generally increased by a bit. (Given
that vanilla recoil is negligible)
——Greatly increase damage output dealt by bothyou and your(all kinds of) enemies, universally increase base health of all
kinds of npc. So the combat is much more fast-paced, and your damage output growth
feels smoother. Meanwhile you and your enemies will never get too fragile.
——Adjustment to all kinds of guns, to makethem unique. Generally, late game weapons(such as Kodama and MagShear) features
higher dps but more difficult to control.
——Ignition beam reduce enemy energy resiston hit by 25%, annihilator rounds reduce enemy energy resist on hit by 40%.
Their dot damage is not affected by energy resist anymore.
——Muzzle brake and Focus Lens reduce recoil.
——Slug round get nerfed.
【Further Explaination】
Fire rate:Rate offire per minute = Displayed ROF *6
Range: Every weapon has max range and minrange. Weapons damage begins to drop once reaches min range, and drop to its
lowest damage(normally 0.5xdisplayed damage) once reaches max range.
Sadly, in the current build of xedit, Icannot adjust the lowest damage multiplier.
