ComicFeel Reshade is reshade presets inspired by aesthetics of comic books of different eras & concept art & retro scifi art. It is an curiosity mod for screenshots. (Gameplay is possible with your own risk, big FPS impact and other QOL hindrances)

ComicFeel Reshade started as an experiment. I wanted to see if it is possible to use reshade to capture some of the aesthetics of comic books, concept art & scifi art for No Man's Sky. This version is adaptation from those presets.
It is an curiosity mod. Dont expect it to be perfect as it was and is just an experiment. At best of times it can look great and other times horrible. It is made for screenshots. Gameplay is possible (especially presets from modern category settings Concept Art 2 preset), but can be at times weird. I tried to make it so one could play with some of these reshade presets ON, but even those has setbacks and compromises as they affect the whole games visual, like UI.
Now that the expectations are low enough, lets get to the part whats good and fun about it.
As said, at the best of times it can give fun aesthetic to screenshots and even gameplay. I made a lot of variations while tinkering and chose few of them to share with others here in this pack. I tried to name way it would give user some info, but they are not 1:1 loyal to their names. Test them and see what fits for certain lighting and situation. At best of times it reminds me personally of comic and art from different eras and i tried to recreate everything from shading techniques, color palettes from faded blacks in some situation (print quality) as best as i could, with an very unorthodox use of shaders. It was an fun experiment which i might continue. Especially when CK comes out.
Possible use case examples are:
- Giving certain aesthetic to screenshots and gameplay
- Shortcut for fan art comic books
In the end, remember its an curiosity mod, it wont magically turn your game to a animation, its not perfect, its an experiment that sometimes gives good results, but its not everyones cup of coffee.
(For "anime" inspired presets, i've made them for No Mans Sky, so check them out if you want. They work with Starfield too technically.)
