How-To Steps
- If you don't have the helmet and don't know where to get it, you can get it from the console using this:
player.additem 0016E0C3
- Equip the Operative Helmet to enable night vision.
- Unequip the Operative Helmet to disable night vision.
Installation
- Download the mod. Extract and place in:
C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data
- Launch Starfield, and attach the script to the player actor in the console. This should only be done once.
player.aps KILO_PA_RI07_PlayerStealthSuitHelmet
- On completion of Step 2 you should receive a message in game telling you that the script has been attached to the player.
Alternate (MISC Files: KILO_IA_NV)
- Download the mod. Extract and place in:
C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data
- Launch Starfield, and attach the script to the item in the console. This should only be done once.
You will need to determine the item's ID code. If you don't already know the ID, drop the item on the ground, open your console and then click on it. The ID you want will be in ().ItemID.aps KILO_IA_NV
- On completion of Step 2 you should receive a message in game telling you that the script has been attached to the player.
FWIW
Main Files: This is the first iteration of the mod as a player-attached script but my end goal is to transition this to an item-attached script. Less scripts attached to the player, the better :).
Misc Files: Use KILO_IA_NV to add NV by attaching script to the item itself.
Future: Additional filters will be added for the helmet.

Console Output To File (SFSE Plugin) - For better viewing of console output, requires Starfield Script Extender (SFSE).
