On low-end PCs I do not recommend changing the speed multiplier! You will crash or have crazy rendering bugs/insane amounts of pop-in if you increase your speed on a low-end PC! ... you will still get a bit of that on high end PCs.
Simply pick which speed multiplier, or all of them and put the file in the same folder as your starfield.exe and then after you've loaded in just type "bat speed#" into the console; i.e if you want 2x speed type "bat speed2." The 1.5x speed is just "bat speed."
Also included is "bat slow" which resets your speed multiplier back to vanilla speed, very useful in cities.
Is it stable? No! Is it safe to use? Probably not! Can I use this to run past stuff at super speed? Yes! Will this crash my game? Most likely! Will this corrupt my save? No, at least it shouldn't... It doesn't do anything but change your speed multiplier.
Be careful when jetpacking with this as you will go flying so fast you WILL die of fall damage if you aren't careful, I suggest running this command on startup to disable fall damage: SetGS fJumpFallDamageMult 0
