It makes chaining outposts together too many times, pointless. I'm currently only building 5 miners on each outpost and I'm still slowly getting backed up in a single system if I build on 6 or 7 planets/moons. I'd love to just "link" all of the blue storage units that can be accessed by ships, like an Ender Chest from Minecraft... Then I could not worry about "cargo-links" at all.
Some kind of "Universal Storage". Breaks immersion, sure, but having 6+ cargo ships landing every second and still getting bottle necks is kinda silly imo.
I may be wrong, but it seems that I cannot connect multiple cargo links ('pads') to just one cargo link (a single designated incoming cargo pad). That is, suppose I want to build a manufacturing facility on Jemmison and then have multiple in-system resource settlements 'feed' resources to the Jemmison facility. It seems that right now it is a 'one-to-one cargo link pad setup. I would have to have a pad at jemmison for EACH of the resource planets. I am hoping that after the CK release, that this can be accomodated so that multiple resource planets can feed into one mfg. settlement.
Daisy chaining is the only option, so from Outpost A to B then B to C, until one of them makes it to your main base, rpoblem is the system is bugged, it doesn't deposit all of the cargo and it goes alphabetically, so say you have a Titanium-Aluminium farm, it will always prioritize taking the aluminium instead of the titanium, the only way this will be fixed is with mods to increase the cargo ship's cargo
