Starfield's photo mode is awesome, but could use some work, for example, widescreen (letterbox) photos are not full screen on 21:9 displays, this mod isn't a fix for that (there is a way to alleviate the issue, lmk and ill provide a mod) but it provides immersive images that fill the entire screen. Also the filters hardly allow for decent contrast adjustments, so generally the photos have poor dynamic range.
All images are photos I've taken in my own gameplay of about 200hrs, they are all hand edited and upscaled about 2x so they fill the screen without appearing too pixelated. I used Lightroom CC for editing, Topaz AI for upscaling, and Photoshop for formatting. The process wasn't exactly simple due to changing bit depth, resolution, and export format, but after testing repeatedly all the pictures should load.
About 1/3 are standard 2560x1440 and 2/3 are wide 3440x1440, to install only Wide pictures, all those files have "ILSP-Photo-Wide" included in the name.
[Installation] Just like any other mod, place the contents (Photos folder) from the mod into the corresponding Data folder (Data/Textures) right where all your photos are normally saved. IF YOU HAVE BAKA DISABLE MY GAMES, this location changes from your DOCUMENTS folder to your GAME DIRECTORY folder. Pretty basic stuff.
[Uninstall] Just do everything backwards, go into your Photos folder and delete the files, all file names start with ILSP so you can filter all the mod files and delete them.
