Someone asked me to upload a preset for my character based on a screenshot for my Take More Traits mod, and I figured "Why not?"
Spent a bit of time making her the first time, and I thought she turned out pretty nice looking. So I took some screenshots of the settings and recreated her for a new game, clean, with no mods. Then I retook all the screenshots of the settings for consistency (also because I forgot a few... Oops).
She's got a Soldier background with the Empath, Extrovert, and Kid Stuff traits.
I have a tendency to start a new game, play it through the first act, and then start over again at least a dozen times or more before I finally settle in and finish it. So I might do an alternate version that gives her the "new game minus" start I've been using whenever I start over, just for my own convenience. It just uses my traits mod and a bat file I threw together to give her a bunch of extra traits and backgrounds (to match the more complex backstory I like to roleplay), as well as a fistful of creds, some starting gear, and a few extra perk points (since adding backgrounds only unlocks the dialog option and doesn't give you the perks that come with them). Nothing that gives me too much of an advantage, just makes it feel like I'm playing a character who didn't just plop into the universe with no clue what's going on like some kind of isekai protagonist.
Installation of the save file is pretty simple:
- Extract Angel-Blue.sfs to your game's Saves folder (../Documents/My Games/Starfield/Saves)
- Start the game and load the save labeled "Angel-Blue Vectera - Vectera"
Or if you just want to turn your dusty into my dusty:
- Open the console and type in "showlooksmenu player 1"
- Select Biometric ID #34
- Go through the screenshots and copy my settings in the character creator
