I'll let you in on a secret. When you ADS* in Starfield, the camera doesn't actually zoom-in, it just moves forward.
This mod changes that.
With this mod, the FOV* will decrease when you ADS (zoom-in) AND the camera won't move closer.
* (ADS = Aim Down Sight FOV = Field of View)

Installation: BOTH PARTS REQUIRED
PART 1 - Removes Base Game "Zoom"
- Install with Vortex / Mod Manager.
OR
- Unzip the file and copy the data folder to your mod folder "Documents/My Games/Starfield" OR your game directory.
PART 2 - Adds Real FOV Based Zoom
- Unzip the file, and copy StarfieldCustom.ini to your mod folder "Documents/My Games/Starfield"
OR
- Copy the settings inside to your existing StarfieldCustom.ini (See optional steps below if you have multiple bats)
- Open your preferred RealADS folder and copy the text file inside to your main game folder (Where Starfield.exe is located)
OPTIONAL STEPS
Customization - Edit your RealAds.txt file to change the FOV or Transition Speed. (More Detail in File)
Multiple BATs - If your INI already uses the line "s Starting Console Command = bat ModName" view the included instructions file for an example of how to combine them. (Format would be wrong if I pasted it here).
Edit Camera Positions - If you want more camera position options check out my other mod Unified Camera.
UNINSTALL
Part 1 - Remove Part 1 (Just remove all the files).
Part 2 - Remove Part 2 and Run the Console Command:
setgs "b3rdPersonAimUseWeaponFOV:ThirdPersonCam" "1"
OR
- Edit the RealADS.txt file inside of your game folder and replace:
setgs "b3rdPersonAimUseWeaponFOV:ThirdPersonCam" "0"
withsetgs "b3rdPersonAimUseWeaponFOV:ThirdPersonCam" "1"
- Run the Game Once and the mod will be disabled.
- All files can then be removed.
