This is a simple add item file to add the slate needed to start the mantis quest without having to wait for a spacer to drop it.
Instructions
Add txt file to your game folder steam\steamapps\common\starfield
After adding the file use ~ to enter the console command screen
Type bat mantis
You now have the quest start slate in your inventory just read the slate to progress the quest.
