Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial Version,
This mod retextures the Ecliptic mercenaries to use the darker but still shiny concept art that actually makes you look like a badass rather than like a loser.
Some major changes:
way less gold. Come on, so much gold for no reason.
tarnished gold chest pieces to be muted more.
darkened and added the blue metal in the helmet + backpack
added my digital camo to all poofy parts
darkened many areas of armor to have better effect and dimensionality so you look like a mercenary rather than robo cop
Thickened and added red areas with the straps (with the straaaaaaps) to be deeper and more natural to the fibers
I ended up making my own space digital camo that I incorporated rather than the blotchy camo mainly as an artistic choice.
- Space Digital Camo made by me. - Ecliptic Logo handmade by me referencing the files. Original Ecliptic Logo in the works.
Yes, I'm well-aware that the visor is not black like in the original concept art.
At the current time, I cannot access the mesh in order to make that not transparent until we get Nifskope working to that point OR Creation Kit comes out. Alternatively, if anyone has any information on how to get that mesh black by all means shoot it my way.
If you have any suggestions on some new retextures, let me know in the comments! I am always looking to expand my capabilities as a texture and mod artist.
Check out The Crimson Dilemma to find helmets that actually nearly-perfectly fit this armor! In the coming days, I will be releasing those helmets as standalones.
