A console command that brings you back to the character creator screen allowing changes without losing progress.

Hi.
This a simple yet impactful command that takes you back to the character creation screen where you can change whatever you want and not lose any progress at all. You can even keep redoing it to have every single background at the same time.
To retain appearance choose preset 1 on the slider on the 1st tab of the character creation menu.
Note: This cmd may disable achievements.
To avoid this...
Steam users: Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE)
Xbox PC: SFAE - Starfield Achievement Enabler
Type in console:

Backgrounds stack! If you want to completely remove a background, do as outlined below but only after choosing your new one:
