Installation
• 1. If you have not yet create StarfieldCustom.ini in Documents\My Games\Starfield with the following:
• 2. Extract the mod to that same folder.

How to do texture replacers in Starfield
As we do not yet have proper modding tools you can try ESP-ESM Translator. Using that to search for the character's name you should be able to find their BaseID and using that it should be the same one in textures\actors\character\facecustomization\starfield.esm
Then use BAE to extract the texture(s) and after you edit them save them as BC7 8bpp Fine (Linear, DX11+) which works in-game with no discernible loss of quality for diffuse textures using Intel Texture Works plugin for Photoshop. That's how it was with Fallout 4 as well, so other stuff will probably be DXT1 exported from 16-bit or uncompressed but don't quote me on that - it's been awhile.
