Comes with custom firing sounds. Reload sounds are a pain in the ass and according to my findings, cannot be replaced without editing animation files. There is an option to replace magazine slap and bolt carrier sounds but it is achieved by replacing Maelstrom's reload sounds. So it will affect both this weapon and Maelstrom.
Uses Maelstrom's animations. Not everything is lined perfectly (such as pressing mag release instead of bolt release after the mag is inserted) but currently there is no way to implement custom animations as far as I know. That ugly grip is necessary and cannot be removed because of this.
Uses 7.62x39 ammo. I made a patch for my other mod that can change the ammo to 7.62x51 but it requires that mod as well as Munitions Expansion Framework.
Leveled list integration is done using scripts, there should be no overlap with other mods. Injected into leveled lists that contain Old Earth Assault Rifle, meaning it can be found wherever Old Earth Assault Rifle spawns.
Damage per second is comparable to Old Earth Assault Rifle. Quality levels are the same, Calibrated at player level 32, Refined at 42, Advanced at 52.
Attachments comparable to other vanilla rifles are available. The weapon can also spawn with these attachments based on vanilla rules.
Basically, it is a sidegrade to vanilla Old Earth Assault Rifle.
Custom UI icons will be implemented once all the SFSE dependent mods that I use are updated.
Some notes:
Swapping attachments with a menu and legendary versions of the mods are a part of my other mod. They are not included in this mod.
Reflex sight is using Maelstrom's reflex sight reticle. It is a dot in the video because I am using these mods:
- Simple Reticles
- Clean Reflex Sight Lenses
