Let me tell you a story that I'm sure that you've heard it more that a few times before. Heck you've probably told a similar story a few times yourself.
I'm sitting in my primary outpost, on Kreet, making my plans. Time to head off the Magreth to pick up the Aluminum and Beryllium then, later, to Sumati for some copper and other sundry items. With the help of Starfield Resource Calculator, I figure out what materials I need to set up the new outpost (a small hab, and airlock, couple solid mining extractors, etc.). Then I head off to "The Wall"(tm). You know what I'm talking about; that long row, or perhaps mutliple rows, of storage containers that contain all the resources I've collected. I walk by each container, checking if it has some material I need, jumping to get to the higher ones, grabbing what I need and thinking, "There has to be an easier way to do this."

"Necessity is the mother of invention" inspired me to toy around and I end up creating the ORC, or the Outpost Resource Collector.
The ORC is a collection of industrial workbench recipes, kept in their own Workbench Filter Framework category, that will "pull" a selected resource from anywhere in your outpost, that the workbench can access, and place it in your inventory.

The ORC does three things.

First, obviously, you can "pull" resources from any containers. I put pull in quotes because, technically, you're manufacturing the item. The recipe has the item being pulled as the sole ingredient and the manufactured piece. It just works.

Second, you can track individual resources, as opposed to tracking a regular recipe that has/tracks multiple resources, some of which you have more than enough of.

Third, if you're using a UI mod, like StarUI Workbench, you can get a total of how much of each resource you have available by looking at the "Max" column.

Now, I designed this to work alongside Starfield Resource Calculator, so the layout is set up for that. There's only one category, organic and inorganic resources are grouped together, manufactured resources are grouped below the organics/inorganics, primers and diodes are grouped below them (I also added the manufactured keyword to the primers and diodes so they can be stored in a warehouse), followed by Alien Genetic Material and Quark-Degenerate Tissue, and Ship Parts that the bottom of the list.

Requirements: Workbench Filter Framework (and all of its dependencies.) I hard coded the custom workbench keyword into the recipes, so they will not show up without this.

Installation Notes: This plugin comes with two Real Time Form Patcher files. The first is the needed WFF file that adds the menu entry. The second removes experience gained from crafting and cooking. While you can remove or edit this file, I recommend against doing so. The reason is pulling resources this was gives crafting experience, even when the only available resources are in your inventory (it takes one from your inventory and puts one right back.) leading to a potential experience farming exploit. If you want to earn crafting experience, while using this plugin, then delete the file "Data\SFSE\Plugins\RealTimeFormPatcher\No Workbench Experience.txt" or you can edit the file to suit you taste (the default values are listed in the comments.) The choice is yours.

Also, I have not experienced an item duplication issue with this; even with Research Methods. As far as the game is concerned 40% of 1 is still 1.

Before you ask, I'm sorry but I cannot put this on Creations. The reason is the two RTFP files cannot be placed in an archive; they need to remain loose.

As with the rest of my modest collection of mods I put out, I'm placing this mod in the public domain. You have my permission to do whatever you want with it. You'll find the .esp in the optional folder. I also do not take any responsibility for anything that happens because of this mod.

I've been using this mod for over a month now and I can not drop this mod from my load order any more; it's just too useful to me. I hope it's the same for you.

Thank you.
