Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added support for Side Quests: Groudpounder, Operation Starseed, Juno's gambit, Mantis, Overdesigned and First Contact
Version 1.0
Initial Release Current Quests covered for reaction dialogue: MQ
It’s been over a year, and I’ve noticed how many players are disappointed with the lack of depth in followers compared to the Constellation companions. Both paid and free follower mods often fall short of the same level of interaction and reactivity. I wanted to find out why this was happening and decided to create this framework to fix it.
CURRENT FEATURES
[x] Modded Companions can share reaction comments with Constellation & other Modded companions via Dialogue Subtype with no conflicts (Completed)
[ ] Modded Companions can die in mission High Price to Pay and become Emisarry candidate (To-Do)
[x] Modded Companions will be more integral with the main story (e.g. Companion can react when the PC use their first power at the lodge instead of standing there existing xD)
FAQ
How do I start using this mod? If you’re using a mod that has this as a requirement, just install it! No configuration or special steps necessary. If you want to use this when creating your own custom companion, see the articles tab and check the optional files for an example plugin.
Where can I get mods that use this? At the moment currently no mod exists :(. Beyond that, if a mod requires this framework, the author will likely tell people on their mod page.
I don’t use anything that requires this mod, why should I bother with it? I you don't have any mods that requires it this is fine just do know that if you ever find a mod that add new companions chances are they will need this framework to avoid unneeded conflicts.
Permissions
For those that are making Paid Creations for Companions you are free to marge this mod safely in your creation as long as you give me credit for the creator of this framework. If you want to keep your plugin clean you can simply make an addon to your creation which have this mod as a requirement.
