    Main mod is now medium master, plan accordingly (remove anything added to the cockpit interior) and preform a clean save when updating . With the change in file type it has been brought to my attention load order will matter so try loading it later in your list from here on out. Patches will be light master.

    Known issues-

    both the mayflower and upcoming hope bridge-NPCs won’t walk through rear doorway. I’m trying to find a fix, waiting or changing zones may help. 

    Warden- floating greeble if attached at bottom (will be fixed next update)
    fixed in 2.6

    athena-cannot access some seats in ready room- will be fixed in next update 
    fixed in 2.5.

    Really appreciate this mod; tried out a bunch of the cockpits and settled on the Athena for now (on the Razorleaf).

    Quick note: every time I land it's a roll of the dice where my character will be sitting: in the new pilot's chair you added, or in one of the co-pilot seats. If in a co-pilot seat, then my character will clip through the sides of the chair when getting up (that is, the sides won't move back/open). Also, the character animates like the chair is spinning to side to let them up, but the chair stays stationary. I do have Landing Animation Reloaded (LAR) active — would that cause any issue (swapping my character out of the new pilot seat and back into one of the co-pilot seats)?

    Again, small point -- just passing it along in case the info is useful. Thanks again for this!

      Just if anyone else runs into this -- moving this mod and LAR as close to the bottom of the load order as possible, with LAR loading after this mod, seems to reduce the rate of chair swapping somewhat.

      But again, love the cockpits! Looking forward to trying out your take on the Taiyo when it comes.

      Don’t use lar myself, guess there’s an incompatibility there. I’ll sticky this for others and note it in the description. I’ll also take a look at the co-pilot seats and see if left some keywords on it that might be telling lar it’s a pilot seat.

      The only "pilot seat" keyword is for the sitting animation (which I don't want to remove). I have added the "furniture class work" and removed the "can't wait" keywords, you'll have to let me know if it helps.

      Thanks for the quick reply! I just spent a couple hours testing the new (2.72) update (reinstalled the cockpit in the ship first), and it appears to be the same -- basically a 50/50 chance whether my character is in the new pilot seat or a co-pilot seat upon landing in the Athena cockpit. However, if I do get put into one of the co-pilot seats upon landing, zooming out to close third-person view allows the animation for getting up from the chair to play correctly. It doesn't play (character clips through the chair) if I try to get up in first-person view.

      I tried this mod before and after LAR in load order, and after lots of testing I'm ultimately not sure if it makes much of a difference -- maybe a touch better with LAR after it. Hope this info is of use!

    I'm currently dealing with real world issues and very soon I likely won't be able to mod or even play for an unknown amount of time, so any mods requested that are not already ported to creations...Full permissions are given to anyone wanting to port or build off of my mods is given as long as proper credits are given .If anyone sees a post requesting to do so please direct them to this page. any of my own personal mods (not patches) can consider this written permission and cite it as proof if needed. Patches for other authors mods may require their permissions as well, but for anything of mine this should count as all that would be required

    Question:  Can anyone tell me if the Pioneer Brig variant has a decorator panel?  I am not able to decorate on my ship with this bridge.  (Haven't tried any of the others yet)

      I'll look into it, might have been in the captains' quarters and I forgot to re-add it. if so, I should be able to get a fix up sometime today (not actually modding for now but that's a big enough error I feel I'd have to make time to fix it).

      it's there in the newest version (though it seems I may have placed it with a collision covering it so it can't be directly activated). open the scanner and press the corresponding button to open the decorator (R for keyboard, x for xbox,  dont know for playstation controller).

    Just want to say, seeing you update so much is such an honour to the community mate. I haven't been around for a long time, especially in Starfield. So much going on, but I've seen your updates and can't deny they are a blessing to everyone that uses them. You're always updating your mods and keeping everything working. I really look forward to when I come back to Starfield and mod again. I thought I'd at least leave you with a comment that explains your mods are appreciated!

    Mattells Crew Series SETI Patch.esm unnecessarily has BlueprintShips-Starfield.esm as a master. This may cause issues.

      fixed both esm and esp versions uploaded to updates. merge into install using mo2 or overwrite existing file for manual install.

      It's there, I opened the CK and was able to confirm, it shows the blueprint as master. I took the opportunity to clean up with ctrl + del. I hope this doesn't corrupt the patch.

    Since updating to 3.3, I'm getting double doors when using the pioneer CQ cockpit, I've tried all the fixes from the comments, and the separated patch to no avail, I tried to post a bug report with more details, but nexus refuses to save it.

      Yes on the reinstall, no on pdy, I only use your base mod, no patches, one other note, I haven't updated my game from 1.14 yet.

      had the same issue as you after the update... guess what... corrupted save :( after going back to the last working save, updated all creations, full resort in LOOT etc. guess what next - no double doors :)

      I can't believe this is almost a reliable canary in the coal mine for a corrupt save like damn

      As I suspected, it was a corrupt save, I reinstalled the latest version, and started a new game, all works perfect now.

    Good luck with RL mattell. I have really appreciated your work going back to the original Ronin (?) which I spent hours customising further (in xEdit...). Thanks also for ensuring others can take over if necessary.

      Is it possible to fuse a Hopetech Armstrong cockpit with a Hopetech fuselage A to make a longer and more functional cockpit similar in layout to the Stroud Viking cockpit?

    Hey mattell, love the mod as well as your others. Just had an issue where about a week ago I upgraded my Razorleaf and included you  Nova Pioneer bridge that comes with the Captains quarters. All has been well until today when after playing in the morning I jumped back in game this afternoon and i noticed that my Cockpit had changed to the same cockpit but to the one that includes the brig.

    I thought I hadn't added or removed anything with the ship in ship builder in the last 3 or 4 days so I was stumped until I went back and checked and saw that when I updated the mod for the update before today's I had selected the new patch for Useful brigs since i use that mod. I though that maybe I'd want to add that same cockpit but with the brig to another ship so i installed the patch. And regardless of how far back I go and reload an old save the cockpit with the Brig is installed on my ship. This is the intended behavior?

    Update: When I reinstall the mod but this time did not choose the patch both versions of that bridge show in the ship builder menu. But with the patch installed only the Brig version appears in the menu so I can't choose the CQ version.

      I'm not able to replicate that on my end, everything checks out in both the ck and game (the constructable object and form list aren't even touched by the patch) so I don't know why it would behave that way. I'll throw together an optional patch that separates them from list form into 2 individual entries and maybe that will fix it for you. You could also try a clean re-install of the mod and see if that helps.

    update includes
    new pioneer variant, pioneer with brig has room for 12 prisoners and an additional crew slot 
    useful brigs patch for the new variant 
    removed the v1 pioneer as the v2 has better navmesh, v2 has been renamed to cq 

    also an optional file will be available containing loose files, esp versions of main mod and patches, and the archive list file for re-packing the loose files. This has been added for anyone desiring to port, add to, or build off of this mod.

    again, full permissions are granted for anything of mine as long as credits are given (may need to request permission from other mod authors for the patches, only files from the main mod that aren’t mine are the kontiki 500 mesh which is from the original derretech mod that also has full permissions from the author).
