What this does
This mod adds a very small random chance that humans will spawn near human buildings! You could encounter civilians, colonists, spacers, ecliptic, or even the military! Va’ruun? Now with the All DLC Patch!
Adds an even smaller chance for some encounters to happen anywhere!
These NPCs that are placed will also have either sandbox or hand made routines.
Warning! Best added to a new game/save. I have encountered some weird bugs if you add to an ongoing save.
None of these bugs seem to occur on a new save.
These bugs seem to go away if you add while you’re in space, and you need to land like two or three times to refresh. I don’t know if these are vanilla bugs or what, but here they are:
none spawn. (It’s actually the people don’t spawn, you may see some items) re landing a couple times fixes.
NPCs only doing one part of their routine and then staying in one spot for an indefinite time. Re landing fixes.
All NPCs everywhere suddenly become afraid and decide you are too strong to kill and run. This one sucks because it will say your in combat even though everyone ran away and it includes all NPCs on the whole map even at POIs. Re loading your save game can fix.
“Normal” Bugs:
In certain encounters, the encounter can spawn some stuff in or under a rock. If this happens you may run into an npc standing around doing nothing. This is rare and seems to only affect the
In Vanilla Starfield only a certain amount of NPCs are allowed to be active at one time. This can result in some NPCs staying in one of their routines until other NPCs are killed or despawn. This is only really noticeable on High Density Life worlds.
Removing from a save:
you can remove this plugin in most situations, but NOT the framework mod. The NPCs will still be there as they will be baked in your save. No new things will spawn afterwards. Removing framework = dead save.
To install just drop in your DATA folder like all other mods.
