About this mod

Micro Progress allows users to customize general stat bonuses awarded per perk unlocked. All included adjustable stats can be configured in the in-game Settings menu. This mod is currently in open beta.

Changelogs
This mod is intended for users who are not completely satisfied with the vanilla progression system. The basic idea is simple: Any time you unlock a perk in either of the five categories, several player stats that are tied to that category will be increased by a certain percentage, regardless of which perk within that category you chose. The exact percentages are entirely up to you and are applied in addition to other bonuses gained from the perks themselves. Anyone with Micro Progress installed can either go completely insane with outrageously high stat bonuses or fine tune a progression balance that is just right for them. The possibilities are endless.


All adjustable stats can be fine tuned by pausing the game and going to Settings. There, you will find a list of stats organized by perk category. After a brief initial setup time, these stats can be adjusted and applied in real time. All adjustments in the settings retroactively affect your total progression bonus, so you can experiment freely and at any time with few consequences. The stats themselves were chosen based on what I thought would best fit with each perk category thematically, but I have also provided all the information necessary for other mod developers to make changes to Micro Progress as easily as possible, just in case they aren't satisfied with my choices. *When the punch damage bonus exceeds a total of 100%, unarmed attacks will briefly knock their victims out and send them flying with a force proportional to the total bonus. When the punch damage bonus exceeds a total of 1000%, unarmed attacks will knock their victims back with extreme force and instantly kill them.




IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ
Micro Progress is currently in open beta. It and all of its features are actively being tested. Anyone who decides to use this mod does so at their own risk, and is encouraged (but not required) to:
- Back up their save file PRIOR to installing and activating
- Read the pinned comment for information on known issues
- File bug reports that provide new information, especially on unknown bugs




Save file safety:
Micro Progress is safe to activate on all saves old or new. However, if you want to or need to disable Micro Progress, it is imperative that you set all of your bonuses to 0%, wait a few seconds in-game, SAVE, and THEN deactivate the mod.




Compatibility:
Due to some minor changes to some vanilla assets, Micro Progress is incompatible with any mod that changes the default starborn ability ranks. No vanilla behaviors are expected to actually be changed with these back-end adjustments. See the MP Technical Documentation section 5 for further details.
