In early 2329 the CEO of WH Industries decided that the company should make a play for the cargo hauling market. The driving vision behind the push for a new cargo hauler was simply "go big or go home!", with the CEO declaring that their new hauler would have 3 times the capacity of the then largest hauler, the Silent Runner.
This lead to the first internal corporate riot in history as WH Industries' designers and engineers, enraged by their CEO's complete lack of understanding of the fundamentals of ship design, ransacked their own offices, setting a new world record for the amount of office stationery looted within a 24 hour period.
Nonetheless, in late 2030 the WH Titan was revealed to the public. With approximately 3 times the cargo capacity of the Silent Runner, the ship could haul cargo on a scale never seen before, while its crew accommodation was so vast and labyrinthine more than one reviewer got lost for several days and search parties had to be organized.
The price of this functionality was weight. The WH Titan was nearly 3 times the weight of the Silent Runner and more than one landing pad collapsed under its bulk, leading some media groups to call for its withdrawal from service. The ship's weight also seriously impacted its maneuverability and jump range, meaning it could not be used on long-jump trade routes.
Regardless, WH Industries considered it a success and the CEO personally appeared in a memorable and much complained about advertising campaign where he simulated urinating on a model of a Silent Runner.
The WH Titan is a Class C ship, becomes available from level 30, can be found at New Atlantis and requires the Ship Vendor Framework.
Please note: because the ship is so large, any changes to the build may take a while for the game to generate a new internal navmesh for it. The ship uses standard parts and is not a glitch build.
