I am very happy with this so far. If this is your first mod I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

One point of confusion, probably my own issue. I maxed out crafting on a character and have Unitied once ( can you verb Unity?). I can craft the helmet but cannot find a way to craft the suit. Am I supposed to be able to craft the suits? Do I maybe have to Unity more to get the suit crafting ability? I do have the Gravis patch installed too. Am I missing something? I have Startech Helmet (Emissary) in the workbench.

*** EDIT/SOLVED: I used console to add one more trip through and more showed up. (Should have just done that before asking) But I'll leave the question and my findings up for anyone else who has the question.

I have the same issue.  Only the helmet shows up.  Can't seem to find any ship parts either.  Though the conditions for the suit appearing look good as far as I can tell.  It's >= 1 (though Unity) It should work.  WEird.

Edit: So something happened  (installed new mod?) that reset some tutorials and now all the ship parts are available.  Still no suit.  Guess it'll have to wait until next game.

I can't get these to show up on the research menu, not sure if it's conflicting with DarkStar or something.

Hmm, Ship research requires Special Projects 1 and having gone through unity (NG+).  Helmets and armor require special projects 1 and having gone through unit (NG+) to start as well as spacesuit design and regular spacesuit research for further levels.

I'm not sure what else could be going on other than ensuring that the mod is enabled in your load order on creations.  I've had a few mods that I installed require me to manually activate them in the load order.

    Neat.

I assume, Unity isn't required? Would be nice if it is (to make it lore friendly).

    PS: I mean, by default.

I'll update the description, but Unity is required.  Just about everything should have a unity or level requirement.  The ship weapons have three different levels regular, II, and III corrosponding with the weapons from the starborn guardian.  Regular is NG1 & 2, II is NG 3 & 4, and III is NG5 and beyond.  Each is an improvement on damage and range from the ones before it but in order to keep things clean they're only available in their respective unity window.  Plus there's some wonkiness with the solar flare beam where only one can be equipped at a time (the actual guardian has two but only fires from one spot).

Armors have unity levels which correspond to the base stats.  So you get the Astra level and appearance at NG1 up to the Venator quality and appearance at NG10.  There's also a further standard quality (regular, advanced, refined, etc) separate from the unity level creating a total of 50 different defense levels.

Congrats on your first published mod, Ahrimon1017!  And what a first mod it is, too!  Well thought out and implemented - very impressive.  Thanks for sharing your work!

Thank you very much!  It was quite fun to make and I learned a lot.  I hope to keep going and keep improving it.
