About this mod
I have added a variety of the scariest looking creatures in game to Eridani IV. All fauna are hostile and challenging. This mod is intended to test combat skills fighting scary looking monsters all over the place. Watch out, there are Terromorphs! This mod only makes changes to the planet Eridani IV.

I made this mod to test my combat skills and for enjoyment and decided, why not upload it onto nexus? Any of you guys want a planet that is really dangerous? Sort of like your own Predator or Klingon proving grounds? Well try this out!
Technical Background:
I have changed the fauna on planet Eridani IV to be a nightmare. This planet now has some of the scariest spiders and bugs from the game. They are a lot bigger and deadly too, also added terromorphs. I have tried to scale all the fauna to your level so you don’t need to be level 80. You will need powerful weapons and armor, I made it brutal by design.
The Backstory (irrelevant unless you’re into immersion):
The UC military has been experimenting on Eridani IV since the colony wars! Eridani IV has been a vessel to test different biological weapons in the UC Xenowarfare division. Top secrete UC clearance will tell you that there was a disaster in one of their top secrete science facilities. All the experimental weapons got free from the facility and the entire project was abandoned as well as the planet.

UPDATE: 12/13/2024 - Version 1.3
1.3 Version Notes:
-Version 1.3 is more deadly than its predecessor v1.2. Most creatures are a bit more balanced but very strong and will kill you quickly if you're not careful. As always, you will need powerful weapons and armor to survive.
-Terromorphs are now deadly, they will one shot you. My best strategy so far has been to kite them using a powerful rocket launcher, I sill die a lot at lvl 55.
-Although I have tested the mod being level 3, I suggest being at least 30-40 level range to have a fighting chance...
-I have cleaned up the mod quite a bit by making a new plugin file from the original version and just using the creatures that I have put in the mod itself. This is why this newer version is smaller in size but still just as relevant.

Installation:
Install by adding this file to your starfield/data folder. You may also open it up and install it in Vortex by installing the mod from
file. Just make sure it is in the starfield/data folder.

If you like what I’ve made please give me feedback whether positive or negative. I’d really love to hear from all of you and what you think I can possibly improve on in future versions. I’m still a newbie modder but learning quickly.
PS. I may select another desert-like planet and use certain fauna to make a really dangerous Starship Troopers like planet in the future.

POSSIBLE FUTURE UPDATE:
The Abandoned UC Cloning Facility is a project I am working on. This is a unique location on the planet that plays into the lore of how this planet ended up with so many wild and nasty creatures. Creating a completely handcrafted location takes an incredible amount of work so I plan to casually work on it as I get new ideas from playing the game. I will copy and paste and then mash certain POIs together to create this installation. I have created a first attempt but I don't think its perfect enough to actually publish yet. Plus I have to figure out how to create nav meshes so the NPCs can run around and act appropriately instead of just stand in one place.
