This guide walks you through further configuring Mod Organizer 2 for Starlit.
1. First click the 'Configure settings and workarounds' button, marked by a wrench and screwdriver. This should open up the Themes tab.
2. Select any Style you want. For the sake of your eyes, I recommend either '1809 Dark Mode' or 'dark'. Click OK when satisfied, you won't be able to see the color change until then. If you're not happy with the look, repeat the step and select something else.
3. It's good practice to leave the Default Profile alone so you always have one profile with no mods running if you need to confirm a problem with a single mod, so select the Profile dropdown menu and then click '<Manage...>'
4. Next we'll clone the Default profile to create our own. Click 'Copy'.
5. Enter a name for your profile and click 'OK' when done.
6. With your new profile highlighted, click 'Select'
7. Since Nexus categories rely on the mod authors to classify their mods into the right category, and that comes down to personal opinion of the mod author, this step makes it easier to ignore that and get things loading in a correct order. Right-click somewhere on the column heading bar of the Mod window and uncheck the Category box.
8. Now you can change the size of the columns so you can see all important information by clicking between the columns and dragging your mouse left or right, but that may be easier to do once you have one or two mods installed.
9. Our next step is to create Separators, which is a useful way of getting a sense of your installed mods, especially as your load order gets more complex. It's like having your own categories that distinguish one group of mods from the other.
10. Right-click in background of the left Mod window and select 'Create separator' from the drop-down menu.
11. The first separator you create will be named SFSE. Type that in, then click 'OK'.
12. Over the many revisions of Starlit, I've come up with a logical load order that minimizes unnecessary overwriting of mods and as much as possible, limits the amound of patches we'll need to use. After you have the SFSE separator created, you'll need to create a bunch more. You can do this now or when you get to that section of the guide. If you do it now, any newly installed mods will appear at the bottom of the list, under all the separators, so you'll have to move them up to the correct separator (click and drag or right-click and send to separator).
13. Each separator created here will correspond to one of the sections you see when going through the Starlit Mod List.
