This guide is for Steam users. Starlit may work with Gamepass or Microsoft Store versions, but I can't test those or guarantee your success
1. Launch Steam. If you already have it installed on an SSD drive, skip to step 5
2. Select the Steam dropdown menu and go to 'Settings'
3. First select the Storage settings on the left side, then click the current installation drive and finally '+ Add Drive'
4. Locate your SSD and click to add it. Close the Settings page when done.
5. Locate your Starfield game and click the large blue INSTALL button.
6. Your installation will default to whichever drive you have Steam installed on. If you have multiple locations, select the drive you do want to install Starfield on, making sure it is an SSD (most of you will only have one drive listed here). Click the 'Install' button when ready.
7. Read the EULA and click Accept when you have finished.
8. Wait for the game to finish downloading.
