Prevents failing milking/shearing attempts and adds an indicator when animals can be petted, milked, or sheared
Compatible with Stardew Valley 1.6.0+ on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Requires SMAPI 4.0.0 or later.

Update 2.0.1 (3/26/24): Now working with Stardew Valley 1.6 and SMAPI 4.0.0!!!
This was a bit more involved than I first thought it was going to be but it was also cool to see how the SDV base code has been updated and streamlined. I was also able to add a fix for a weird bug that was causing the milking range warning to falsely fire when the player was facing away from the animals.
I want to personally shout out to omek97 who kept things afloat with their own fix while I was working on this and to BernieAteUsername, Tenebrosful, and Admonstrator for translating the settings menus!

Sorry to cross-promote, but I think you'll really like it! The mod adds the floaty thought bubbles over
villagers to indicate their favorite gifts from your inventory and when they'd
like to talk. The idea is to make it easier to manage friendships with
villagers without having to spend time on the wiki or other mod menus.

Install
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods.
- (optional) Install Generic Mod Config Menu for easy config setting management
- Run the game using SMAPI.
