just coming in here to ask if there is a way to disable the changing of the vanilla berries item names and pictures? i didn't see any config file to edit this.
i was completely confused for awhile and i didnt know what "white mulberry" was or where to find it, until i realized later it was actually salmonberries.
i was honestly just super excited about the new fabrics and stuff so i didnt realize at first that this mod edited my vanilla berries to be different. im still really excited about the fabrics, and i think im okay to keep the changed berries as is for now, but i wasn't quite prepared for it, and i really thought i needed to find a new crop or new forageable item, and i had no idea how to find it.
Hey! I love the idea of this mod and really want to add it to my game, but I am always hesitant to add anything that replaces anything in game, as I run a LOT of mods. Is there any way you can create these as separate crops you can grow? Or maybe base them on someone else's mod that grows mulberries?
If not, I totally understand. There's a reason I asked you: I have no idea how to do it. But if you could come out with an edition that doesn't replace existing items, I would swipe this up in a heart beat! Regardless, thank you for your hard work and taking the time to read my request. Hope you have a good day!
me too, i woud really like a version that doesnt replace the existing berrys
edit: ok, i looked at the files, and it is aktually really simple to change the mod to your liking. I deleted the entry that changed the berrys in the "content.json" file of the CP folder, And changed the description of "BigCraftables/SilkWormTray/big-craftable.json" from mulberry to just berries in the JA folder. The "ProducerRules.json" file in the PFM folder i edited to add the remaining berrys of the game for consistency and i deleted the keg recipe part that woud have made mulberrys to greentea. works just fine
Thank you for this, followed those steps and it's just what I wanted. Maybe in the future we'll get a mod for custom berry bushes/custom berry seasons.
Oh thank you thank you thank youuuuu! This is really cool! (I accidentally typed 'wool', lol) I love to sew, but I'm also getting into weaving the original fabric and things, so this mod speaks to me so much!
Non-related question, what retexture are you using for the loom? It's really nice ^^'
