Apologies for an obtuse-sounding question. In pre-1.6 versions of the Skull Cavern Elevator, it was possible to configure the elevator to appear at certain levels. I used the 50 formula, i.e. the elevator appears on level 50, 100, 150, 200, and so on. For the current version onwards, how do you precisely do that?
I tried adjusting the Elevator Step in the config menu, but no other levels appear other than '0'.
When I fainted, the elevator always automatically resets and can only choose floors 0 or 5. Please repair it as soon as possible, which is important to me. Thank you
For some reason just today this stopped working. There is no lift. It worked before and I haven't changed my mods since. Edit: I've just noticed the lift does show once you go into the mines but isn't showing in the cave entrance anymore.

Personally love this. Sure, it's a little cheaty, but having to go 100 floors every time you want some iridium also feels like being cheated.
A good balance I found is putting a checkpoint every 20 floors!
There is also the option to set a price for every elevator step you are going down ;)

setting the config value "ElevatorStep" to 50 and "Difficulty" to 1 should do that.
in each 5 layers you open the elevator
