I found some free to use livestock bases and decided to use them to recolor my chickens. The baby chicks that I thought were from the vanilla game are from Elle after all. No wonder I thought they were so cute. I still want to add an additional chicken color. I may or may not work on more animals in the future.

A backup of the vanilla chickens files is provided with this mod, so don't worry about losing them if you want them back later.
Copy-paste the Content folder into your "...\Stardew Valley" main folder and, when prompted, let it override.
This mod is now updated to work with Content Patcher, so it will no longer replace any game files.
