    You have questions that are SMAPI related? Please refer to this active thread. The creator (entoarox) of the Seasonal Immersion mod and others are there to help you the best they can.

    I'm getting some comments about the mod not working. Please note that this could be due to the fact that the Beta patch 1.2 came out so some smapi mods don't work anymore. If that's the case I can't really help any of you to make the mod work, especially if everything is installed like it should. I'm very sorry about this.

    If you didn't update to the beta, then I urge you to go to the forum to ask for help. Like I said Seasonal immersion is not my creation, I only provided the ContentPack. Go to here for help:

    http://community.playstarbound.com/threads/smapi-seasonal-immersion.125683/page-18#post-3115064

    EDIT 02/24/2017: OKAY I found out that when you download the file, it comes out as a zipped ContentPack-891-2. THIS file you need to actually open up to reveal the ACTUAL zipped ContentPack you need to use for the mod. Sorry if I wasn't clear about this! I hope this clears some confused minds.

    EDIT 04/30/2017: It seems that after SDV 1.2 was released, the ContentPack doesn't need to be zipped anymore. You can use it now as a normal ContentPack folder.

    EDIT: 06/11/2017: I know about the issue with the flowers not loading in the game anymore. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong! Stay tuned.

    EDIT 06/13/2017: I may have figured out the flower issue. If you use CJB Item Spawner version 1.7.2 instead of 1.8 it should fix it!

    You know, now that Custom Crops works, you could make all those flowers grow as crops...

    Try this fix if you having issues with loading the correct Victorian building textures in-game. I had this happen to me and I had verified that I had correctly installed SMAPI, Seasonal Immersion and this mod with no luck on getting this mod to work. I had also tried using either the zipped ContentPack in the SeasonalImmersion folder and the unzipped version with no change. I paused the command text scrolling in the SMAPI console window to get an idea of why it wasn't working properly and got the following error message:

    Mod skipped.... Hobbit Hole House 1.0 manifest doesn't point to an entry dll.

    This was the only mod showing up as having errors and being skipped by SMAPI because of it. (Found out in another forum post that this was a known issue that the manifest file was from another mod). I thought maybe it had something to do with the building textures from this mod not working correctly so I looked into it.

    If you are seeing anything like this, then that means that the manifest.json file included inside of the (unzipped) ContentPack folder for this mod needs to be updated. The manifest.json file included in the zip should look like this when you open it up with a text editor:

    {
    "Name": "Hobbit Hole House",
    "Author": "LemonEX",
    "Version":"1.0.0",
    "Description": "A seasonal hobbit hole house!",
    }

    The manifest file has the wrong information and needs to be changed in order for the mod to work correctly in-game. In order to fix, follow these instructions:

    - Navigate to the appropriate directory where you unzipped and placed the ContentPack files for this mod. (..\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\SeasonalImmersion\ContentPack).

    I installed Steam under another drive other than the C: drive, so my correct path would look like this:

    D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\SeasonalImmersion\ContentPack

    - Right-click on the manifest.json file found there and edit the file with a text editor. *I highly recommend downloading and editing using Notepad++ but if you don't edit script files much, you may just want to use Notepad.exe*

    - Delete all of the lines inside the file and copy and paste the following text (including the braces) below into the *now* empty file:

    {
    "Name": "SMAPI Victorian Buildings and Flowers",
    "Author": "Eemiestardew",
    "Version":"2.0",
    "Description": "Victorian Buildings and Flowers Content Pack for the Seasonal Immersion mod",

    "EntryDll": "SeasonalImmersion.dll"
    }

    - Save the file and exit out of the text editor.

    - Load the game. If the above steps were followed correctly, you should see the proper building textures loaded in the game replacing the vanilla building textures.

    Hope this helps anyone still having issues with getting the textures to load in-game properly.

    P.S. If someone has already posted this, then please disregard.

    Tested under the following:
    - Stardew Valley (version 1.2.33)
    - SMAPI (version 2.3)
    - Seasonal Immersion Mod (version 11.0)
    - SMAPI Victorian Buildings and Flowers Mod (version 2.0)

      I followed your instructions, but mine still says that it has skipped the mod due to the fact that the SeasonalImmersion.dll does not exist. Do you have any further advice for me?

      Seems like both Jimmy10v0 and I have the same problem. Yeah, any advice? I can mod Skryim all day, but put me in front of Stardew's file tree and I'm a mess. Thanks in advance.
      EDIT: Ah-ha! So I think I've found my problem: I didn't install SeasonalImmersion properly because I have no idea how Chucklefish's website works; I clicked on the wrong download, meaning I didn't get the .dll and only got a random ContentPack. Now I know to click the big orange button at the top right of the screen next time!

      I did this, and the error message disappeared in the text log, but the buildings STILL aren't loading the texture! No idea what's going on???
      It also said it found and loaded the files, but nothing. I even started a new save file to see if that would change anything but it did not. Really confused and upset because this mod looks SO amazing and I'd like my game to look just as great!

    for those having problems with using this mod i found a way but im not sure if the mod only applies to your farm or the whole town because for me only my farm changed. but go here (https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/smapi-seasonal-immersion.4262/updates) download the files and copy them to SeasonalImmersion folder with the unzipped ContentPack. I also in the ContentPack folder where the mod files are, I edited the file as stated below by Maleficent84
    {
    "Name": "SMAPI Victorian Buildings and Flowers",
    "Author": "Eemiestardew",
    "Version":"2.0",
    "Description": "Victorian Buildings and Flowers Content Pack for the Seasonal Immersion mod",

    "EntryDll": "SeasonalImmersion.dll"
    }

    Im no modder nor take any credit for any fix or files it just worked for me and hope it helps! Also if the SeasonalImmersion folder and ContentPack folders are not already in the mod folder Simply Create them.

    I'm going to post this to help out others who were having trouble with the mod, but first I wanna say that all of your mods are just amazing, eemie. Toucans, deer, awesome Victorian Designs, I have nearly everything. If you ever decide to morph our dogs and horses into victorian-esque stand-ins, or convert the monsters into nightmarish Bloodborne-Esque horrors, I don't think I'd ever need another aesthetic mod ever again!

    Your mods rule. Thanks so much for making em'!

    ----

    FOR THE PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE MAKING THE SMAPI SEASONAL VERSION WORK, I was able to play by creating a NEW, EMPTY, ContentPack folder in the Stardew Valley > Mods > SeasonalImmersion folder. I then moved the Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Manifest.Json folders/files into the new, unzipped, folder.

    In a nutshell, the problem was the original ContentPack folder, itself. After replacing it with a new one of the same name (caps & spacing are important), everything began working for me. I mean, Iaven't gone through a new season yet, but, well, I'm not getting error messages - so we'll see.

    I hope this helps others a little.

    I've attempted using the Seasonal Immersion mod with the latest update, but the mod has yet to be updated. I was referred to using a different mod called Content Patcher, and I'm curious as to if it will still work the same? Although my main concern are the files that needed to be placed into the SI folder. Should I do the same with the Content Patcher, or leave it be and see how it works? Thank you in advance!

    Unofficial update creator here- if you have the latest version of Content Patcher installed, you can download my version and place it directly into your Mods folder. The buildings change with the seasons without needing to have Seasonal Immersion installed. (Also, SI is obsolete now that Content Patcher exists, so Eemie's last update won't work at all with 1.3).

    I don't know what's wrong, but every time I download this, I get the same error, even when it comes to SMAPI. If there's anyone out there with a good version that works, please let me know.

    Spoiler:

    What a royal pain in the ass it is to install. Can't I just do an image swap for the season I want without having to create offsite accounts to get seasonal changes?

    XNB mods aren't recommended now that Content Patcher exists and we can avoid them. If you want me to DM you directly with the file so you don't have to create an account on the official SDV forums to download the update, I can do that. You'll need to have the latest version of CP, though.

    We're trying to do 1.13 MP with this, and keep getting hung up on SI not being up to date. Any way around that? Using Content Patcher for it maybe? Or nothing till there's a (maybe) update on this one?

    Any chance on this being updated for "Content Patcher" as "Seasonal Immersion" isn't being updated anymore?

    PFFFFT. Ignore me. That's what I get for not scrolling down completely before asking questions. Commenter directly before me; you're amazing and I love you.
