does anybody know the values for cooking crafting and all that for the base game because this mod breaks that for some reason it changes the defaults to unreachable numbers
if anyone is confused of where to find this open your smapi loader and you will see white text above the yellow text, like this [Perfection Tweaker] Found 154 shippable items [Perfection Tweaker] Found 34 friendable NPCs [Perfection Tweaker] Found 81 cooking recipes [Perfection Tweaker] Found 149 crafting recipes [Perfection Tweaker] Found 72 fish (this is 1.6 i think) you can use that to change the settings. so if you are confused on how to change it, load up stardew valley after you downloaded the mod. in the bottom left corner AFTER you see the title fully is a settings gear, and if you click on it, it will open up your mods list. if you see Perfection Tweaker, click on that and you can use the information above to set it. i hope this helps? :)
update: go to mr. qi's room, and the perfection tracker will display the max settings. (already shown in regular desc of this mod) update: download Generic Mod Config Menu to see the settings. idk if this has to be downloaded so please reply
I've got a question about how this affects getting the Master Angler achievement and thus the Stardrop needed for perfection. I'm putting it into an old save with modded fish. I tried setting it to a number of fish I had already caught, and then fished again to catch a few just to see if it would activate. It did not. Do I need to set it to a number that I haven't already caught? Or is this just unuseable mid save?
This mod doesnt affect achievements. You'd need to turn "Stardrops needed" off if you want to achieve perfection without fishing all fish. It's a bit of an oversight admittedly, I might change that in the future.
In Perfection Tweaker, if the numbers are set too high, an orange warning message will show with the correct numbers, like: 'Warning: Caught fish in config file is higher than possible in game (292).' This tells you the maximum is 292, but the config might be set to something like 10,000.
I'm wondering, though—what happens if I use lower numbers than the possible maximum? Will the correct numbers still show up in the warning? If not, could it be possible to show them even when the numbers are too low?
