I edited the xnb files for penny in my game so she has long hair, and so I'm uploading them here in case anyone else wants to give her long hair.

This is a pretty basic mod that just changes xnb files but I couldn't find any mods out there that made penny have long hair like I wanted to, so I made it myself and I'm sharing this here in case anyone else wants to have her have long hair but doesn't want to draw it themselves.
INSTRUCTIONS (please read!):
First, go to the place on your computer where you put mods at the step where you have the MacOS folder/folder where you put mods and the Resources folder. Click on the resources folder and then the content folder inside of this (note, I have a mac so this is how to do it on mac, I think it's the same on PC but if it's not, just look up how to replace .xnb files on pc for stardew valley).
Go to the portraits folder, COPY (and put in a folder so you have a version of the original file in case you want to change her back - you can also find this online or have steam check your files so it's not the end of the world if you forget, but this will save a lot of hassle, trust me) and then replace the penny.xnb file in the portraits folder with the pennyportrait.xnb file (and CHANGE THE NAME OF THE pennyportrait.xnb file to penny.xnb)
Then go back to the folder before the portraits one (the content folder) and go to the characters folder, and then copy (again, for saving - put this in a folder on your desktop/somewhere safe but not in any of these folders - however, you may want to rename this file pennycharacter.xnb just so you don't confuse the two) and replace the penny.xnb file in characters with the penny.xnb file.
Then, you are done! When you launch the game penny should have long hair.
If you want to go back, simply replace the new xnb files with the old ones that you saved, making sure they are all named penny.xnb and are in their respective files.
Sorry this is an xnb mod, I don't know how to make json mods and I mostly just did this for my own game and wanted to share it in case anyone wanted to use it. As long as you keep copies of the old files and put the files in the correct place, you should be fine. And you can always have steam check your files for errors (won't erase your games) if you mess this up.
