Issues with recolours I am working on creating patches for recolour authors to add if they choose. There is a sample patch on my Github, but it needs to be edited for each mod.
Thank you! I don't have active plans as need to get permissions from each recolour mod due to how the seasonal backgrounds work, and this gives me anxiety lol. However, I will put starblue on my todo list here :)
Hello ! :) First, thank you so much, i love this mod ! However, I can't plant tea saplings in the crop patches (tiled or not). Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible ?
I really love this mod, its amazing! My only problem I'm having with it is multiplayer. both myself and the farmhands have the mod installed as well as its dependancies, yet the interior does not change for the farmhands. Is there a way to possibly fix this? thank you!
I really like the mod and how the inside looks but I'm not the biggest fan of the wallpaper (with the large option). I tried changing it with the catalog wallpapers and it didn't work. I noticed that one of the pictures had a different wallpaper though and I was wondering how i could get that?
I also noticed that there was no change for the bowl whether i clicked it on or off. (they look like before i installed the mod) Could it be an issue with another mod or could i have done something wrong? I'm wondering how to fix it.
Overall, I still like this mod as it makes the hutch look way better and more useful but I'd love to find a way around the issue I'm experiencing:)
Hi :) The picture with the different colour wallpaper is from a recolour mod (I think that one is 'A Toned Down Stardew Valley' or ATDSV which is only available on Moddrop.
Unfortunately you can't change it with the catalogue wallpapers as the game doesn't know they are 'walls'. I don't think there is a way to make new 'walls' in the game (afaik). If you want to change the wallpaper, the only way I know how is to manually change it in the Tiled app.
I think there is a mod called 'Alternative Textures' which might allow you to 'paint' the walls? I will look into it :)
Regarding the bowls, you still see the purple square bowls? Are you using Generic Mod Config Menu to change the config? Or did you edit the config.json? (Maybe I need to make it compatible with GMCM!)
its wont change size (from the original slime hutch) for some reason, is the config wrong?? this is what it has { "Size": "large", "Windows": "vanilla", "Bowls": "true", "Floor": "alternate" }
Hi, 'large' is the original size. Can you try this: { "Size": "small", "Windows": "vanilla", "Bowls": "true", "Floor": "alternate" } hopefully should work!
Hi, do you have the Content Patcher mod too? It is here: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915 If it doesn't work still, could you send a log? This is a link to the log upload site (with instructions): https://smapi.io/log Also, do you use a mod manager? If yes, which mod manager? (sometimes they don't install correctly) :)
Beautiful slime hutch..i love it...i had "thought" that when i first added this mod that my character "changed clothes" to get into the tub, but this does not happen now...am i imagining things or did i screw something up? thank you so much :D Grace
As far as I know it should work! There's actually only one tile that 'changes' clothes. I made it so you can avoid the tile if you don't want to change clothes.
If you follow the pink path, you should change clothes, however, if you follow green, you should stay in clothes. Let me know if this doesn't work as maybe I need to update the code!
This is a lovely model of Slime Hutch, very pleasant aesthetically. However, it has caused me no end of confusion, because I could swear that in the file, the alternate floor and the grey one are absolutely identical, one and the same. In the pictures on the site, for instance the "regenerate in the spa" one, there´s clearly a different floor, with space between the cracks. Am I missing something and do I need to go to the ophthalmologist, or did the z_floor-alt.png accidentally get added twice in the assets folder?
I think the floor in the picture you are referring to (https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1303/images/6497/6497-1595256544-28854465.png) is from 'A toned down stardew valley' recolour which is unfortunately not on Nexus anymore. You can get it on Moddrop, I think. The assets are not included in the Slime-hutch mod.
You are right that the floors look almost identical! (I did check the uploaded files and they are correctly labelled.) The 'grey' floor is taken from the base game assets, whereas the 'alt' floor is taken (with permission) from rustic country interior. I think the shadow is a little different and it is very slightly warmer in tone and intended to be used along with that recolor mod (here: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1303/images/6497/6497-1595887352-963706642.png) as an alternative to their standard white slimehutch flooring shown here: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1303/images/6497/6497-1595868310-1060483871.png

The vanilla tilesheet used is here: https://github.com/lauren-mods/StardewMods/blob/main/Content%20(unpacked)/Maps/townInterior.png so basically any texture from that png would work!
this is what it has
{
"Size": "large",
"Windows": "vanilla",
"Bowls": "true",
"Floor": "alternate"
}
{
"Size": "small",
"Windows": "vanilla",
"Bowls": "true",
"Floor": "alternate"
}
hopefully should work!

Last time i used this mod, it was normal until it was updated lol
It work lol, and it doesnt even need tile rearranged at all
I'm sorry, I tried following the link to your log (https://smapi.io/log/634f5288f6cc4103ac1ad95f8e3082f), but it says 'Error details: There's no log with that ID.' Maybe the last letter/number is missing?
