Mysterious monsters have appeared on the safe levels of the mine! Helps the town by ridding the mines of these "bosses" and gain rewards for your efforts! This mod allows existing monsters to appear on the safe levels (every 10th level) with boss-level stats for you to defeat in exchange for rewards. You also see an increase in the difficulty of existing monsters on other floors.
Added new items to the loot pool for defeating bosses. There is no guaranteed compatability with other mods, if you notice any issues, please post a message and let me know the name of the mod and I can take a look at adding compatability.
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
Configuration You currently have 4 configuration options available:
skullCave (default false) - Turn to true if you wish for the mod to affect the skull cave.
extraXP (default false) - Turn to true if you wish for experience points to scale to the difficulty of the monsters you kill
difficulty (default 3) - See below for the difficulty scale
difficulty percentage (default -1) - If this is left at -1 then the above difficulty setting will be used. Otherwise it is a sliding scale, anything below 100 (100%) will decrease the difficulty, anything above 100 will increase the difficulty.
1 (very easy): damage and health of mobs are reduced to make the mines super easy. (50% of normal)
2 (easy): Slight reduction of damage and mob health (70% of normal)
3 (original): Vanilla (default)
4 (hard): Mobs are starting to get interesting now (150% of normal)
5 (very hard): Good luck in surviving (200% of normal)
Tier 6-10 now affects boss creatures and general mobs with additional damage
