Te mod makes my avatar much cuter with her skirts! I love this mod but I think there should be a way where we can get the skirts with Emily's sewing machine. I hope that in the future there will be an update like this, I'm sure more people would like it.
If you have customize anywhere or CJB item spawner, you can use those to spawn them in. If you don't, I think you can also get them through the clothing catolog but I'm not really sure ^^'. I should probably figure out how to add crafting recipies so that you can craft them or sew them (I don't know how making clothes in the sewing machine works I only know how to use it to dye things XD).
I'm sure there might be a way but I don't know how. Though you can always either use CJB item spawner or Customize Anywhere to get them after you make your farmer.
Hi, I'm sorry, I've read and tried everything suggested TWICE! But for some reason I can't get these skirts to work in my game! I get this error code in the SMAPI console when I boot the game with the skirts installed. [SMAPI] Skipped mods [SMAPI] -------------------------------------------------- [SMAPI] These mods could not be added to your game. [SMAPI] - Kisekae Skirts 1.0.0 because it requires mods which aren't installed (JSON Assets: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1720).
EDIT: Fixed error code by myself, ID10T error on my part, but I still can't find them in my game, even with the CJB Item Spawner. I'm so lost! Lol.
I made a small update to the way I made the zip file for this mod so that when you download it and extract the file it should keep all the files together in one folder. You can try the newer version to see if that fixes anything.
I edited the grey skin tone colors using draker grey colors from a set of skin tone colors here: https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/more-skin-colors.112733/
I thought this mod add in more skin colors but it didn't at least from my testing. This thread was from 2016 so I guess something changed in the game that won't allow it to work so I just edited the grey skin tones with the darker ones from this mod. You can test out the mod to see if it does add the new skin tones it adds but if it doesn't, you can change the grey skin tones in the skinColors.png with the darker ones it adds using an art program of your choice.
I haven't gotten a chance to update my mods yet to see if anything broke but have you made sure that all the mods required for this mod are updated to the lastest version as well as making sure the everything is in a folder and that folder is in your mods folder? Everything should be in a folder when you extract the zip file but in case not, make sure that pants folder and manifest file are both in a folder together and then put that folder in your mods folder.
To dye the skirts, you can either use the sewing machine or the dye pots in Emily's house.
For the sewing machine get a dye material of the color you want and put it in the slot where the material would be used then press the power button to get it to dye the cloth. You may have to do it several times to get the color you need.

Hey what is that shirt that you are using for your character? I haven't been able to find it anywhere, but I really want it since it looks amazing paired with the black skirt.
