Misophonia Accessibility (previously Remove Eat Sound)
The goal of this mod is to remove the sound when eating solid food to help those who find that sound irritating. The mod can also remove the drinking sounds, if enabled in the UI (new!) or manually in the config.json file

The goal of this mod is to remove the sound when eating solid food to help those who find that sound irritating. The mod can also remove the drinking sounds, if enabled in the UI (new!) or manually in the config.json file
Installation and Requirements:
- Install SMAPI version 4.0.0 or higher
(requires 4.0.0 or above) - Install Generic Mod Config 1.12.0+
- Download this mod and unzip the MisophoniaAccessibility folder into. Stardew Valley/Mods The latter can be found in your game's installation directory
- Run the game using SMAPI
- (Optional) The eat sound is disabled by default, but the drink and bubbles sounds are still enabled. You can disable these sounds too by modifying the settings in-game or in the config.json file. The bubbles sound is what plays when you put items into a keg.
Compatibility:
- Requires SMAPI 4.0.0+
- Requires Generic Mod Config 1.12.0+
- Works with Stardew Valley 1.6 on Windows (untested on other platforms)
- Works with other mods (in the rare case other mods call Game1.playSound no audio will be produced.)
- If you discover a bug, leave a comment on this page or create a new issue on GitHub to track it.

- Expand the ability to stop other sounds from playing that some may find irritating
- Expand this into a new mod that adds additional accessibility features
