When asking for help or reporting a bug, upload your SMAPI log and add a link to your message. This has useful info like what versions you have, which mods are installed, when happened in the game, etc. Please do this even if you don't see an error in the log.
Current known issues:
Some fish lookups don't show their spawn rules. Stardew Valley 1.6 completely redid fish spawn rules; Lookup Anything partly supports the new format, but unfortunately it'll still need a lot of work to support fully. It's one of the things on my list to look into when the dust settles on the 1.6 update.
"Milk (any)" and "Egg (any)" are shown as Animal Product in cooking recipes.
Certain monster drops are dynamically generated in code and won't appear in the monster lookup as a possible drop.
On some keyboards (especially for laptops), you might need to press FN and F1 together instead. You can also change it to a different button, either by editing the config.json file or by using Generic Mod Config Menu.
Hiya! I'm having an issue where some fish do not show their info on where to catch it, I noticed it specifically on the woodskip and sandfish. Here's my SMAPI log if you'd want it: https://smapi.io/log/6d7386b1111644819ef0ff69da98975a
Thank you so much for this mod it is such a huge help!!! Been using it for years <3
However, since this update, when I look up any sort of food ingredient, the "needed for" area at the top that shows the gourmet chef achievement now shows all of the recipes that the ingredient is in. Before the update, it only showed the ones that I hadn't yet made. (Not sure about crafting ingredients as I haven't really done much crafting yet in this playthrough. Everything else seems to update properly though -- full shipment, polyculture, bundles, etc.)
Edit to add error log, though I'm not seeing anything too relevant, the trace just says what I looked up and not what the results were: https://smapi.io/log/f2a3905bc728486e988489794f7f7051
Another edit: I ran across an ingredient for a crafting recipe I have already made, and the crafting achievement is updated correctly in the "needed for" area. Looks like it's JUST the cooking achievement.
Hello! I downloaded the new update and now every seed in Pierre's store is showing in Lookup Anything as if it produces "Copper's Reed" (a modded item from Visit Mt. Vapius that I have not encountered yet). This is true even for vanilla seeds. The seeds still work normally, though. And sometimes sleeping fixes the issue, but it often comes back up. https://smapi.io/log/b6d1b70c9a194d67934ba4c1dcdff72c
EDIT: Actually this might be an issue with VMV! I have left a comment over there.
This mod no longer shows any modded production buildings in the crafting recipes list for items. I asked the mod author and they said it's likely something on your end. Is this intended?
Do you mean the output recipes for custom machines added through Producer Framework Mod? The integration with that mod broke in Stardew Valley 1.6, but it's on my list to look into in upcoming versions.
For me they are the machines added using Content Patcher.
No machine production rules show when using Lookup Mod, it only works with the Vanilla Ones. And the same can be said towards Artisan Goods and Cooked Items, the mod doesn't show how they are made and what machine made them.
That's partly fixed in the upcoming Lookup Anything 1.41.3. It'll now show the same hardcoded recipes as before for vanilla machines, but it's not updated to parse them from the new Data/Machines yet. Thanks for reporting it!
Do you think we could have a section on where to get an item? For example, rainbow shells on beaches, fire quartz on certain levels of the main cave, iridium rod at Willy's for 7500 gold, etc
Unfortunately that info isn't really available in the game data, since the item sources are often hardcoded or complex (e.g. based on randomized item queries).

But some fish are normal
You mean certain quest items like Ectoplasm from ghosts?

If so, can you create a zip of your save folder and that Mods folder, upload it to a site like catbox, and post the link here?
Is it possible to fix this?
