This mod will allow the player to regain energy when they are in their bed in single player games. There is base game functionality that allows players to regain energy in multiplayer games by doing the same thing.
This single player functionality was apparently a "bug" between Stardew Valley 1.0 and 1.3. I like it so I modded it back in. It still works in the 1.6 release.

1.1.0 version fixes an issue with being able to regain energy while the menu is up and the game is paused. [thanks to Adda0 for finding this bug!]
1.2.0 version updated a bunch of the infrastructure and naming conventions of the files that were causing issues within the SMAPI console. [thanks to r1kai for finding these issues!]
