Can I use this on an active save?
Yes. If an object you have placed (i.e. a keg) is in the top row of one of the modified buildings it may occupy the same tile as one of the new clutter objects and will look strange. Do not panic -- just pick up the object and place it somewhere else. If this does not work for you or you run into other issues when activating the mod you should clear your interior space of the problem objects with the mod deactivated, save and quit, and then activate the mod.
What about variants?
I would be happy to add variants if this mod somehow obtains popularity.
What did you make this mod with?
This mod was made with tIDE and XNBNode. If you are interested in making your own changes to Stardew Valley's existing maps you might be pleasantly surprised how easy it is and I encourage you to try it out! You could make this mod yourself in well under a day even if you have no prior experience.
- Removes the clutter from the greenhouse, coop, and barn. Now you can easily put your own objects against the walls! Probably kegs.
- Removes the damage to the floors and walls in the coop and barn so that they don't look as poorly maintained.
Installation
Stardew Valley Package Manager
- As with any mod, back up your saves before installing.
- In the manager click "Add Mod Package" and then select "Simple Building Cleaner.7z" from wherever you downloaded it to.
- Double click "Simple Building Cleaner.7z" in the "Inactive Mods" list to active it.
- Launch and enjoy your new floor space.
Manual Installation
- As with any mod, back up your saves before installing.
- Make sure your "Content" folder under your Stardew Valley installation directory has been backed up.
- Unzip "Simple Building Cleaner.7z" into your Stardew Valley installation directory.
- You will be prompted to overwrite some files. Accept.
- Launch and enjoy your new floor space.
