It's Fall 28, but without snow. Is there a way to fix this?

No error is reported in the console, and the folder "ErrorLogs" is empty.

I'm using SMAPI 3.13.4 with Stardew Valley 1.5.6 (build 1.3.37.0) on Unix 4.15.0.176.

If the ErrorLogs folder is empty, that means SMAPI isn't running. Can you make sure you followed all the instructions in the SMAPI install guide? You can also come ask in #using-mods-help on the Stardew Valley Discord, and we'll help you get it working.

I just found a second ErrorLogs folder with the latest log. Here is the link to it:

I hope this helps to solve the problem.

I now despair. Vortex says it's broken and deleting and reinstalling it does nothing.

I just went through checking which mods that I use have been updated, and I almost danced when I saw this, my favorite mod, was updated. I think the only thing stopping me from actually dancing is me being sick and not wanting to over-exert myself.
When I first started using mods, I used the ones that replaced the files. Smapi scared me. I believe the first mod I downloaded with Smapi was this one, and I've kept it since. It's good to see it updated for 1.6!

It is perhaps not rational how happy it makes me to see this mod has been updated, but for realism's sake, immersion, whatever it might be, I am in fact happy to see this has survived the potential apocalypse when so many other mods will not get updated.

I'm right there with you. I just went through checking which of the mods I use were updated for 1.6, and my favorite mod- this one- was, and I was stupidly happy to see that. This was probably the first mod I ever downloaded that I've kept. I did have others, but they were before smapi. This mod is special to me, and I love it, and I'm so glad it was updated!

As the most critical mod in my stack, hehe, here's hoping it works for 1.6 tomorrow!

Can you try it again, then upload your SMAPI log (see instructions on that page) and post a link here?

Same question. Does anyone know of any conflicts?

Hello, I know this is really late but if anyone still wants to know, it does not seem to work as I got them both to try and in the first year it rained instead of snowed. So unless it works in later years it isn't compatible.

Sorry to necropost, but Climates of Ferngill actually has "Snow on Fall 28" option in it's config menu already. So having Climates of Ferngill installed makes this mod redundant.

Probably doesn't at the moment. Climates of Ferngill is being reworked both to compensate fore 1.5 (they were seriously effected) and for streamlining purposes. So for the time being, the mod has much more limited features than it did previously.

Still not sure if this is compatible, but if it is it would help add in an old feature and give the author more time to focus on the fundamental bones of the mod.

Well I'm not sure if it's compatible or not, but if Climates of Ferngill is updated, I would recommend using that mod for sure!
In the meantime, here's an updated that should make this mod run on 1.5 if it doesn't already.

Hey, I don't see enough love for this mod. It really adds a whole lot of immersion and realism and I use it for every single playthrough I've ever had. Thank you! <3
