I have a problem when updating to the deluxe in Robin, it stays at 12 animals either for the corral or the stable, it was not like the previous version of 1.5.6 that was directly updating from the building but that does not matter much, only that although The maximum number of animals changes, not 30 or 40, it does not change and it is always at 12 maximum.
I play stardew valley through Steam Deck. I found difficulty in upgrading coop and barn population because I can't click the building to open the [upgrade_question] selection interface through Steam Deck gamepad or touching control areas. Then I change the controller settings in Steam Deck. Click on Left touching area -> Mouse Left Click Click on Right touching area -> Mouse Right Click For those who have same problems via gamepad. XD
I'm playing on a multiplayer save with my sister (we're split screening, she's trying to change it as the host) and nothing is showing up when she approaches a barn or when she left clicks it, we can access and change the numbers and prices in the mod menu fine, we just can't get the actual barn/coop to increase in size (visually it has, but the number limit doesn't change) any ideas?? 😅
The mod doesn't work on the second players side. It must be installed on the host since it needs access to the save file. I'm out of town for work right now, once I get back I plan on r3doing the description of each mod to go with the newest updates.
my barn of 20 cows even when i check the box to feed the extra animals, the 8 extra ones dont get fed but this doesnt happen with my barn of 20 sheep or 20 pigs or any of my 20 coops
i've also noticed that in my 12 goats barn, this barn has been upgraded to house 20 but i've only put 12 goats in it but there are 24 spots that are filled with hay, concidentally maybe? but both of my 20 cows barn there is 4 that weren't fed in each and in my 20 pig farm there is only 16 hay spots filled but the pigs were always fed So maybe it accidentally filled the missing spots of the pig and cow farm in the goat farm but somehow the pigs where still being fed The coop always have all of the hay spot filled more than the max population of the coop so its easily solved if the barns can aslo be the same I'll try some stuff out like moving the animals and buying animals so the barns are full to see if it fixes the problem after i moved all of the 20 cows to the goat barn and the 12 goats to the cow barn and slept the 12 goat barn was filled with 20 hay spots, one of the the 20 cows barn was filled with 16 spots and the other was 12 spots and the 20 pig barn was filled with only 12 now and some of them wasnt fed specificly 4 pigs and 4 cows from both cow barn
me too, i also only get 12/20 hay placed. but its strange because i was actually able to get it to update to 24 mid-day but it only happened once. i have automation with a chest of stacks of hay going into one silo (and another mod to increase capacity of the silo way above what i even need daily). i cannot remember *exactly* what i did, but im pretty sure i went and bought like 4 stacks of hay from marnie, went into one of my barns (all the doors were closed with the animals inside, not sure if this is a factor), saw 12 hay, disabled and re-enabled auto feed in this mods settings, dropped off my hay into the chest that automate puts into the silo (theres already thousands in there so it was already full), then went back into the same barn to see there was actually 24 hay. the next day there was 12 hay, a gap of 8, then 4 hay. i wish i were confident that was the exact process i had because i have not been able to get it to happen again no matter how i mess with the mods settings or where my character is standing (like inside or outside the barn when i do it, trying to remove the hay from the chest/doing this with and without the hay, even buying from marnie and placing new hay in the chest like before, etc). i can only get 12 no matter what and im honestly not sure what auto feed extra animals does because i havent seen a difference lol.

Unfortunately, I have downloaded Legacy Coop and Barn (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/21220), and it seems that the last stage of the barns and coops are now broken visually. I tracked down the culprit, and it seems to be this mod...would there be any solution? Because I don't really want to take out this mod, I just find it too useful!
If you're getting errors, I would say no. Can you play the game until the error happens, then go to http://smapi.io/log and follow the directions there, then share the link with me. I will look into why it's causing errors.
I'd also like to see this option, it conflicts with other mods that edit the interior of Coops/Barns and it'd be great to keep the functionality without having to use the new map.
I apologize for taking up your precious time. To answer your question, it was indeed right next to me and upgraded to Deluxe, but the cursor still looked like the basic shape. Secondly, as I mentioned earlier, according to the mod description, the cursor was supposed to change its shape after the Deluxe upgrade, but I thought it wasn't working because it stayed the same. However, after trying various things, I managed to get it working properly. The fault is all mine. Once again, I apologize for taking your valuable time and am always grateful for your hard work. Please continue to provide good mods in the future. Also, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the less smooth translation due to using a translator, as English is not my native language.

I'm actually having the same issue right now, even though SMAPI isn't giving any kind of error code. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I still haven't figured it out... I even destroyed my barn, reinstalled, and rebuilt a new one - nada! I'll keep trying!
Are you talking about the icon changing? If so, can you load up a game and get the log? Just so I can see what you have installed. You can find how to find the log by going to SMAPI Log Parser, and follow the directions, then share the link with me. I will look into it and see why it's not working.

So maybe it accidentally filled the missing spots of the pig and cow farm in the goat farm but somehow the pigs where still being fed
The coop always have all of the hay spot filled more than the max population of the coop so its easily solved if the barns can aslo be the same

The game itself will auto fill all hay troughs in the barn/coop, no matter how many animals you have in there.

I've tracked down the issue, I'm currently working on fixing the hay issue.
you can fix this by using cjb cheat menu and enable auto feed animals

Version 1.1.1 gives you an option to disable the map edits.
