This still works. I wanted a replacement, not something I had to add in, for my first TV, so the other versions of this did not work for my wishes. I also wanted to use it with a cp replacer recolor for all the furniture, because I want a theme for my game.
I used Toned down furniture recolor, which also replaces the TV, making it so neither of them were applied. (I was using Vortex and it didn't seem to care when I changed their names, uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing seemed to change that the recolor was applied second.)
After some hilarious often reckless trial and error, I decided to try and "read the manual". With about 10 min of research into the rules of CP, I figured out that my recolor mod used EDIT instead of LOAD. EDIT will be applied after LOAD, but with both of the CP mods using EDIT, I was left to the load order whims of Vortex. All that was left was to figure out the damage I had done with the trial and error and BAM!, I made it work how I wanted.
All I actually needed to do was open the content.json file for the recolor mod with notepad and change the action to LOAD instead of EDIT.
Load goes first, then edit makes changes. This forced the load order I wanted for these files.
I still don't know how to set load order in Vortex so I better not decide I want several mods that have to load in a very specific order.
I love the mod, it gives that special touch to my house and I adore it, I look forward to more of your work, I would love to know what mod you use for the walls and floors of your house I loved them, I hope I don't bother with the question
These are so lovely! I never thought of looking up a mod to specifically change the TV, but found this while looking for other things and I'm so glad. [edit: For anyone having trouble loading it, if you aren't worried about it replacing your other mods, just load this folder last, by renaming it to something that will show up later (ie put a z in front of the folder name)]
could you make a CF (Custom Furniture) version of this mod pretty please??? the current furniture mod i'm using is replacing the tvs (and i can't change this) so your mod is not showing up :/ thank you!!!
I'm not allowed to put the tv with the stand against the wall because it seems to have four tiles and the two behind it block it. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you!!

Yikes, but what if I use a world recolor too?
