hey everyone, I was able to get this to work. I use vortex and had to go into the mods folder to manually delete the old version for some reason. but I downloaded the new unofficial from https://github.com/Lake1059/ResetTerrainFeatures_NET6 and then added the config.json file from this version, which it was missing. hope this helps y'all.

edit: not sure if i'm missing a trick, but no joy.. i did just drag and drop the folder, does it need recompiling or something? 2nd edit: yep i'm dumb and was downloading the master folder, make sure you download the release folder, not the code like me!! it works tho :)

To the right side of the green button that says "Code" there is a column that says About, Releases, Packages, and Languages. Under the Releases section there is a link for "1.4.0-unofficial-Lake1059". Click on that and it will bring you to the zip file you want to download.

Which is frustrating, as the official patch notes for SVE's latest update for 1.6 specifically mention using Reset Terrain Features to patch over saves from previous versions.
This one works! I played one in-game day on the Meadlowland farm and ran into the same issue when I grabbed SVE after that. Just boot your save file, smash that L keybind, and reset those bushes and trees or whatever else. :) https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/20665
That one got deleted, do you know who the creator is? I'd like to track their mods in case they reupload because I desperately need to reset my terrain :/
I wish creators would stop leaving dead mods. I understand life gets in the way, but at least make it open so someone can take it over and maintain it :( This is a really handy mod to have, but sadly it is no longer compatible.
