    Is this mod still maintained?
    For Stardew Valley 1.6 and later only, yep. The original author is no longer active, but I'm keeping it compatible with game/SMAPI updates and fixing critical issues. It's a "keeping the lights on" priority for other improvements though.

    How do I get help / report an issue?
    Post a comment below! Please upload your SMAPI log and add a link to your message (even if you don't see any errors). This has useful info like what versions you have, which mods are installed, what happened in the game, etc.

    Since I maintain many mods for other mod authors, I can't always answer every question here (often I'll be busy handling SMAPI or my own mods). If you can answer someone else's question, that's always appreciated!

    can this let me set a higher profit margin? i want to set it to 200%

    Can I use this mod to lower the Profit Margin to 25%, but keep the base price of everything at 100% or even increase it?

    I'd like to do a run where buying seeds is always a net loss, so you have to be more creative.

      Not with this mod unfortunately. The mod changes the game's built-in profit margins setting, it doesn't change how the setting works.

    just realized that A/B = 60%xA / 60%xB, so this mod does not actually change the profit margins on crops or fruit trees.

      This mod changes the game's built-in profit margins setting, so it works just like setting it yourself on a new save.

    Ha! I am about to start a playthrough and was considering starting in multi-player just to set a profit margin, but mainly play in Single player (because I'll have like 77 thousand mods installed xD But if anyone DOES want to multi-play a totally modded up game, hit me up!)

    This mod is awesome.

    So, if I start a game in single player but decide to co-op one day, do the farmhands need this installed too? If they don't have it installed, would they just get vanilla margins? (in my case, single player margin/no margin)

      Nope, it only needs to be installed by the main player. It changes the game's built-in profit margins setting, so it'll work automatically for farmhands.

    Does this modify margins based on 1 or the currently set margins? If I set it to 25% at the start of a game, then make it 0.5 in the mod, is it roughly 12.5% or does it make it 50%?

      This mod overrides the the one you set in the game. So in your case, you will get a profit margin of 50%

      Awesome. Thanks for clarifying. This mod will now prevent me from having to make a new game in the multiplayer menu just to get a lower profit margin. I'm extending my days quite significantly, adding in minor stamina regen, and lowering profits significantly to make the game much longer. Plus SVE so it's massive all around. 0.01/1% profits, here I come.

    This is so close to something i wanted.

    If i could change profit margins for different categories of items it would be exactly what I am after!

      That's a very different scope from this mod, since right now all I'm doing is adjusting the vanilla difficultyMultiplier. I'm not planning on making any new mods for a while, but there's places you can write mod requests to see if someone takes on the project!
