All the usual NPCs are in the main download right now. If you have additional requests for the odd minor NPCs that aren't in it, I can look into it, but otherwise you should be set. Enjoy!
Not Currently Included: Events & Festivals. I never realized the dialogue was separate. I'm working on these right now. Bouncer, Gil, Governor, Grandpa, Gunther, Henchman, Morris, Mr. Qi (These guys just weren't in the file I based the mod out of. Also WIP)
Not all instances of names were able to be changed in this version of the mod. The original author of this mod gave me permission to post an updated version and fixed a lot of issues this one had. Here's links to the one that I have created:
Hello! I loved your mod! Could you do the same with the new expanded stardew valley characters? It would be great if you could do it if it's not a hassle! I'm really in love with this mod!!!!
My main concern is upkeep. It looks like Stardew Valley Expanded is still actively being developed and I can't promise that I'll be active enough to update my mod to match if they change some dialogue and it breaks my patch.
This is the second mod tonight that has really opened things up for me! First, I found a replacement for Maru that doesn't look my ex, and now I have this, which will allow me to change the name of a different villager, so that she doesn't have such a similarity to another person from my past. Thank you so much for this mod! SUch a small thing but from what I see in the comments, a very much needed one!
Thanks and good luck. Let me know if there are any pronouns that need replacing, I don't think I did much about them in the current version. I wasn't really expecting full gender swaps.
Sorry about that. I've uploaded a '.zip' file to replace the old '.rar' so you should be fine if you download the new version. Let me know if it gives you any more trouble.
Thank you SO much! It has eternally annoyed me that there's a character named Maru, which is a Japanese name for your cat lmao, it's like naming a human "Furball"
