With the new 1.4 Stardew update it is possible to change the color of the shoes, or so I've read. Therefore there's not really a reason to have this mod! (And it was kind of broken anyways.)
CherryChain's mod, Customize Anywhere (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4734), should have a feature soon for changing shoe colors so keep a look out for that!
