ill be honest, i havent checked the comments on this mod in like a year bc i didnt think it would break, so i had no idea it wasnt working. ill see what i can do
Suuuper late reply it's not so much broken as it's just you need to change which cat is targeted in to Content.JSON to match the cat you're using. Cat is the orange one, Cat1 is the grey one, and cat2 is the other one.
I had some issues getting this to work. I remembered I had an [AT] for my pet that would change it. So I removed it. Didn't work. I read some more comments and realized the target cat was not matching.
The default target cat is - cat. If you chose cat1 or cat2, you would have to change the content.json to match the cat you chose.
FoxmanTVhead was correct with this tip to change the "Target" cat to match the one you chose. I did get the content.json and manifest.json files on my download.
I figured out the problem with the mod, and found a fix as well. The problem was there was no content.json or manifest.json file that comes with it, and only the assets were installed. By using the content and manifest json files from the "Seasonal Eeveelutions" mod (created by the same person as this mod,) you can just switch the assets folders, and have this mod work as intended! Another issue that can be solved is pet breed issues. If your cat isn't the Orange cat, you will have to change the content.json file a little. You would only need to change this specific string: "Target": "Animals/cat" across all four of the times it is mentioned, by adding a 1 or a 2 at the end of the /cat portion. Use the 1 if your default cat is the grey cat, and 2 if the cat is the smooth light orange cat! Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I hope this helps you be able to use the mod.
A shame this doesn't work. Hoped I could've just tweaked the files to change the target, but not as straight forward. My partner loves Leafeon too, and thought this would've been a nice surprise.
Hi, adorable mod concept. I can't seem to get it to work in the game however. I made sure there was the comma after the first } Renamed the folder to [CP] Seasonal Leafeon in case the odd folder name was the issue, looked all through the files and whatnot. (Though I am no coder)
I had a look at other seasonal animal mods and they all seem to be having issues too. Is it possible they somehow patched/ruined seasonal pets? Either way I hope perhaps you see this and if it's a solvable problem that'd be sweetness. Until then I'll just do the super old school way of replacing XNBs XD.
Hi there, I'm really interested in this mod, it looks great! However no matter what I do it refuses to work in my game. I tried adding [CP] at the start of the folder title, I've tried loading the different files in Notepad++, I've deleted and re-downloaded everything, but nothing's working. My other CP mods that change assets are loading beautifully, so it's not a problem with CP. Do you offer any suggestions to try to make this mod work?
Nothing to worry you with but when I start the game the cmd shows that your mod can be updated. I just downloaded it today (19th) an the info of "Last updated" shows 18th. It's only bugging me because my pc isn't one of the fastest so it takes a while to load 8D
