    I am using the 100% Easier + Max Fishing Bar but that setting doesn't work. It works when I set it back to just 100% (no max fishing bar), but then completely reverts to not working at all (vanilla game style, i lose the fish) when put on the Max Fishing Bar setting. Using 6.0.8, and I've tested the settings multiple times.

      Hi there!

      I'm not experiencing any issues with the Max Fishing Bar setting. Do you notice a fishing buff appear when the setting is enabled?

      Can I get a SMAPI log with the setting enabled?

      Also, are you by chance using anything to increase your fishing level?

      I'm not getting a fishing buff when the setting is enabled. Here is my latest log.

      It's so weird because this mod worked perfectly on my macbook laptop yesterday, but isn't working on my gaming PC today.

      So I did some looking into your SMAPI log, I see the mod tries to push out the patch for Data/Buffs, where the Max Fishing Bar pull from.

      But I didn't see the actual buff being applied on your game load.

      I could not reproduce the issue, but what I did notice however is some trace logs from Stack Everything Redux:

      [18:47:39 TRACE Stack Everything Redux] MenuHandlerOpener enregistered & enqueued

      Those appear right under where Fishing Made Easy Suite is trying to apply the Max Fishing Bar buff.

      I did some more looking in the log and found that Stack Everything Redux does something to "BobberBar"...not sure if that's the same as the fishing bar.

      Stack Everything Redux did release a new update today 1.1.0 that does fix some menu errors. I would maybe see if that mod could be causing the issue? I did download the mod myself and found no problems or never found any of those traces on my SMAPI log.

      Let me know if that works!

      Sorry for the delay in replying.

      I downloaded the updated version of that mod and it works!! Thank you. It's so interesting that a Stack Anything mod could affect the fishing mechanic. Thank you so much for your help, and thank you so much for both your fishing and combat mods. In case anyone has this issue in the future, I turned the + Max Bar setting and then had to restart the game for it to take effect. Thank you!

      I couldn't imagine what the Stack Everything mod does to fishing. I just saw some odd traces right under where Fishing Made Easy Suite was trying to apply the buff for the Max Fishing Bar. But glad that was the cause and you were able to fix it :)

    Could you add a functionality to lock crab pots in the water so we don't accidentally pick them up?

      Hi there! That's currently out of scope for the mod as that would be more of a hardcoded functionality. Fishing Made Easy Suite uses Content Patcher that just edits existing data. But maybe some day if the function gets de-hardcoded, I'll add something like that in :)

    Hello!
    If it's not too bothersome, can we possibly get the option to turn toggle prismatic shards from showing up as legendary fish and instead just as regular fish again like in the previous version?

    i have the lastest version and have since not been able to get the legendary fish quests to trigger, i toggled the setting off and on again and still no luck :(

      Hi there!

      They trigger once you caught one of the legendary fish once, then the quest will trigger in that fish's appropriate season.

      So for the Crimsonfish, once you catch it once, the quest will appear in the mail sometime in the Summer :)

      The quests are repeatable too! So you will be able to do them multiple times in multiple years!

      yeah i had it work in a previous save file, but since new save file and i have caught each legendary early in their season but never had the quest pop up since

      So the condition for the quest changed with the 6.0 update. It used to trigger any day of the season as long as you caught the fish once. Before 6.0, there was no way to make repeatable standard quests. In 6.0, I changed the condition to detect the season, if you caught the fish, and then the quest will trigger on the 3rd of the season. I made this change specifically so that it can be repeatable every year as it became possible to do so with the 1.6 update. If I didn't add in a specific day, then the quest would show up every day in the season. This was the only compromise I could come up with during development.

      I also didn't want to make the quest trigger too late in the season so it can give the players time to finish the quest all season if they're not using the All Seasons setting.

      So if you caught the fishes early on in Year 1 and later in the season, you'll have to wait until Year 2 for the quest to trigger.

    A question ... do you by any chance plan to make a Fishing Made Easy mod for Visit Mount Vapius? I use that one besides East Scarp and SVE and it seems the mod doesn't work there.

    i looked at the settings and was looking for a way to just automate the "HIT!" part of the fishing minigame, is that setting available at all with this mod? i am currently using "auto fishing 2.0" mod to get rid of this part of the minigame, are they both compatible with each other?

      No this mod doesn't offer any automation settings, but it is completely compatible with all automation mods that provide that option! :)

    I installed the latest version of Fishing Made Easy Suite, but the fish remain the same value, even though I change the price variable. I reinstalled SMAPI, no error appears in the log, but the value remains the same as in the fish.

      Hi there!

      Whenever you change price settings, it'll only apply to newly acquired fish AFTER you enable the setting. This is also in the description for the Sell Value setting :)

      So for example, any fish you caught previously that's in your inventory or chests are already locked in whatever price they were at when you caught them. When you change a Sell Value setting, any fish you catch after that will be affected by the change. This is something that cannot be changed as it's a cached hardcoded value in the game.

      That's with fish caught after the setting is changed? Are they vanilla fish or modded fish?

      Hmmm yeah mine is working just fine for me with the same setting. Could you provide your SMAPI log? I'm wondering if there could be a mod modifying price values in the background incorrectly.

    Something about the way you made the legendary fish recatchable causes it to pop up one of those announcements every single time you catch one and prevents wild bait from doubling them. I haven't unlocked the new 1.6 bait yet, but I'm willing to guess that it might not work with the legendary fish as well. I think I vaguely remember everything I mentioned working normally in 1.5? It's been so long it's hard to say for sure

      Hi there!

      Nothing about the way the setting works should prevent doubling of legendary fish. It just removes the limit. The message has always been there since pre 6.0 of the mod.

      Are you sure you're not fishing on a bad luck day? Wild Bait doesn't always proc and is affected by daily luck.

      I could do some testing when I get some time. But I don't see anything in the coding that would prevent Wild Bait from working.

    With the SVE expansion, none of the SVE special fish are spawning on my farm even with unique fisah setting on. could this be sorted out? It worked fine in 1.5.
