UPDATE 1.0.1: fixed 'rice noodles' sprite! It was showing up in the cooking menu as 'vegan sushi'. also fixed a spelling error. ALSO, changed mail.json so that translations can be made easier, moving all information to be able to be translated within i18n default.json 

Ah, it's a wonderful life to be vegan! <3 However, I was wishing my cute little farmer could enjoy some of the things I like to cook in the game, too! So, I created this <3 

All recipes will be sent to you by a 'Secret Vegan Admirer', who is actually kind of weird, too. (see images above).

Oh, and most recipes have pretty good buffs, as being vegan is just wonderful for your health, so your farmer can now enjoy some pretty sweet perks as well. I also tried to balance the price of each recipe considering base level quality of produce. (most will allow you to profit!)

THIS MOD ADDS 21 RECIPES! NO VANILLA GAME RECIPES ARE CHANGED, JUST 21 NEW ONES ADDED

The recipes will unlock and will be sent to you after reaching certain heart levels with the villagers! All are unlocked between 1-8 hearts. Here are the villagers that are affected: Gus 1 , Marnie 3, Shane 2, Maru 6, Wizard 4, Emily 5, Vincent 2, Abigail 4, Clint 7, Caroline 8, Jas 3, Sam 4, Pierre 6, Sebastian 7, Alex 7, Penny 3, Jodi 3, Willy 3, Lewis 3, Pam 4.

Here are the dishes you can expect in this mod!

• 1- Pumpkin Curry: coconut. rice, pumpkin, garlic
• 2- Vegan Curry: rice, tomato, garlic, summer squash
• 3- Dish 'o' the day: rice, tomato, broccoli
• 4- Stir Fry: rice noodles, Bok choi, carrot, pepper
• 5- roasted cauliflower: cauliflower, garlic, oil
• 6-roasted carrots: carrots, maple syrup, chili
• 7-green curry: coconut, Bok choi, broccoli, chili
• 8-vegan taco: cabbage, kale, super salsa, tortilla
• 9-harvest salad: yam, kale, cranberry
• 10-banana pancakes: wheat, banana, applesauce
• 11-lil' vegan cake: strawberry, sugar, wheat, banana, applesauce
• 12-pineapple cake: pineapple, wheat, sugar, applesauce
• 13-healthy salad: beet, radish, cabbage, kale
• 14-summer salad: orange, strawberry, kale, cabbage
• 15-applesauce: apple, sugar (used in a few baking recipes^)
• 16-super salsa" corn, mango, pineapple, chili
• 17- nice cream: 2 banana
• 18-strawberry nice cream: 2 banana + strawberry
• 19: mango maki roll: mango, rice, seaweed
• 20: vegan sushi: rice, seaweed, carrot, pepper
• 21: rice noodles: rice (used in noodle stir-fry)
  

I made each of the recipe's a 'loved' item for each villager! I also have a few neutral/disliked items as well.

This is my first cooking mod. It was a really fun little project to make! I wanted to make sure things looked vanilla-enough, so let me know what you think! I can still tinker around and update the png's !

How to install:
1. ensure you have SMAPI and Content Patcher installed
2. download my file 
3. unzip the file into your 'Mods' folder
you will now have 21 unlockable vegan recipes in your game!

What's next from me?
-I'll be trying to release an update for 'desaturated furniture' and both of my 'cribs' mods tonight to introduce all of the green variants into each mod!
-once this is done ^ I'm back on the new-furniture wagon. Couches first, and then nursery furniture!!!
-another little frog project is cooking up, too. (not actually cooking frogs ha!)
