Love Sam but do his vanilla portraits kind of... cringe you out? Well check out Better Seasonal Sam! I have created a Sam who just looks all around better. An edgy vibe with a lip ring but also cooler with "fantasy anime" type clothing. He was inspired by Blavat Sky from Black Butler. SEASONAL PORTRAIT + SPRITE mod, + it requires CONTENT PATCHER!!

Do you wish Sam looked cooler? Do you wish that some of his portraits were a bit... less weird? Do you like anime inspired but still vanilla-ish art style? Do you appreciate a lip ring? and finally, do you like cool fancy/fantasy style clothing? why not try 'Better Seasonal Sam'!
for Black Butler fans out there, I was inspired by Blavat Sky from the manga!! :3
Everything is revamped. Portraits, sprites, hairstyle, joja portraits and sprites too, beach bod with extra BUFF-ness. Really I just created what I wish Sam was in the game for me so if anybody also likes this then I am so glad! Yeah he wears fantasy clothes, has a short cape in the fall, a huge crystal neckpiece in the winter but he can still shred on his guitar and ride a skateboard. Sam is just cool like that- with this mod anyways! :p
I began this project because I was playing Sam After Dark- a yandere dialogue and event expansion by Ioshionbottle and LOVED the way it made sam but really couldnt fully appreciate it because I was getting cringed by the Vanilla portraits of Sam (just my opinion!) and I couldn't find something to replace them that was what I had in mind. Thus, here we are! (btw I TOTALLY recommend Sam After Dark! its absolutely wonderful and has made my playthrough so much better with all the drama and craziness!)
HOW TO INSTALL
1. make sure you have CONTENT PATCHER and SMAPI
2. download my file
3. unzip my file into your 'Mods' folder
Launch the game and you'll have a much better sam!

Here's what I've got coming up!
1. a huge dialogue expansion for Sebastian to pair with my Black Butler Sebastian portrait and sprite mod. Its coming along and I could see it being ready in as soon as 1 week (13th May)
2. an update for my 'Morris is a Frog' to make it compatible with Marry Morris as well as SVE
3. a secret little project for all of my Vanilla-Sebastian lovers :)
4. More of my art-styled NPCs with anime inspirations. This is something I love to do and my next target will be either Clint, Alex or Elliot I believe!

Its absolutely fantastic for anybody looking to create seasonal clothing for portraits and sprites as well as for festivals too! AirynS is a great creator!!
Also, if any mod creators, beginners included, need some guidance with making your created portraits and sprites run in the game, the lovely PixelHag has made a guide for hot to use AirynS's Seasonal Outfits Code Template. Its very easy for beginners to follow!!
