Features:
  • Attachable Upgrades: Equip tools with upgrades that add special abilities or stats.
  • Fully Customizable: Choose which upgrades fit your playstyle — speed, area of effect, power, and more.
  • Progressive Unlocking: Discover new upgrades as you level up your skills.
  • Easy Management: Swap, upgrade, or remove upgrades at any time.

Install:
Upgrades are added/removed from your tools exactly like bait/tackles from the Fishing Rod.

How It Works:
Basic tools work the same

Now instead of your tools automatically improving after having Clint upgrade them, upgrading unlocks attachment slots (like the fishing rod).
Each tool has a limited number of slots based on its base upgrade level Copper (1), Steel (2), Gold (3), Iridium (4).

Upgrades are unlocked by leveling up your skills, the first few unlock at Farming level 2 and Mining level 2.

This mod should work when added mid-play through (although you miss out on some of the fun!)
Clint's tool costs are cheaper as the upgrades require resources as well. This can be toggled on/off in the config.

Basic Upgrades:
Length/Width:
Increase the area of effect of your Hoe/Watering Can
Power:
Increase the strength of your Pickaxe/Axe. (1 upgrade = copper strength, 2 = steel strength, 3 = gold strength, 4 = iridium strength)
Capacity: Dramatically increase the water capacity of your Watering Can

Support
If you encounter any bugs or have any ideas for new Upgrades, please let me know!
There is also a debug command "modulartools_attachment_slots_reset" to try to fix up any tools that are missing their attachment slots.

If you want/need to remove the mod mid-play through before removing the mod run the debug command "modulartools_remove_all_attachments". This will clear all tools of attachment slots and their upgrades preventing crashes after this mod is removed.

Happy Upgrading!
