A simple mod I am continually adding content to that adds new cats as different animals such as a Bee, Possum, Fox (WIP), B'st (featured from Sea of Stars) etc.

WELCOME TO UV'S ALTERNATE CAT
ABOUT THE MOD
This is a small mod package that I am working to build out with new pets and animals so that farm cats can become new and fun animals.
FEATURES
Version 1.0.3 Update
At the moment the pack adds 12 new breeds of cats to the game:
-Frog assets and other animals will be added in future versions of the pack as I return to this mod. (I will be spending more time with different mods in the immediate future)
-The mod has had some polishing done before publication to iron out visual assets issues. I am still working to learn how to better polish the pets behaviors to match their texture assets as well as improve compatibility with gifts and presence in the 100% end-game cutscene.
-While the added cats will visually appear as different animals, I have yet to adjust their "BarkOveride" field so they will still meow like cats.
-NOTE: This mod does not "reskin" existing cats, but rather adds new breeds accessible through adoption via Marnie's shop
HOW TO INSTALL
NOTE: This mod is currently not compatible with coop play unless all players have the mod installed and identical configuration files allowing for the same breeds in-game. Further testing is needed to identify possible errors in a coop environment with varying configuration alignments.

Lastly, I am not a developer nor artist by trade so I apologize for any issues as I am learning this process, please be gentle with me =)! As a product manager I am always open to feedback, ideas and resources from the community and would love to continually add to this project and any other mods I publish over time.
If nothing else I hope this silly little side project can make someone out there smile or bring a little extra light to a game and community that is already so beautiful.

- Fox + Arctic Fox
- Snail
- Cinnamoroll (Inspied by the Sanrio Cast)
- Junimos of varying colors (Green, Blue, Red, Yellow & Rainbow)

HOW TO INSTALL
- Install SMAPI
- Install Content Patcher
- Add mod files to your game's "Mods" folder
- Run the game to generate a config.JSON file, or use the default file included in the mod files (includes all 12 options by default)
- Use a text editor like VSCode, Atom.io or Notepad to edit the "Cat Breeds" field in the config.JSON file
- Save the file
- Run the game and enjoy playing with your new goofy animal friends
